This article requires a working understanding of the vultology code.

    TiSe
    ALEVIN
It seems that Ji-leads are scarce overall, and TiSe's are no exception, so I will be using some samples multiple times across different developments to showcase as complete a spectrum of their vultology as possible.

This type's vultology was particularly challenging. There were many unexpected factors that emerged and some recalibration that is required. The TiSe are not only the sum of Ti-lead + Se, but an emergent phenomenon all its own. And I suppose this applies to all types, but not enough attention has been given to how it manifests unique qualities in the TiSe. There are two main factors. The first is how their Poised Actor ability can make them essentially pseudo-ESF's temperamentally because of how powerfully they can craft a persona. If NeFi/NeTi are the extroverted introverts, TiSe and FiSe may be seen as introverted extroverts. And I think this has to do with how Se, even in an auxiliary position, gives immediacy and contact with the world.

The second factor is the Ace variant or shade, which is not restricted to athleticism. TiSe's have this ungodly ability to dominate a high-profile field through hyper-specialization. In a similar way to how TiNe's can obsess over semantic precision, TiSe's can obsess over technical precision in craft and execution. And they have an ambition/passion from polar Fe which, when channeled, makes them into inverted, but meticulous, FeNi's. The acclaimed positions they can come to occupy further make them appear natively extroverted, natively-proactive, and possibly even Je-lead, but they never actually cease being TiSe energetically/psychologically.

Overall these two shade variants (while hinted at before in the book) make TiSe's quite different to TiNe's whenever Se+Fe are being channeled in any capacity. I hope to explain this and other things down below.

    Notes:

    1) The annotations (l---, ll--, lll-, llll, l--l, l-l-, l-ll, ll-l) signify function consciousness, with "l" being fully conscious and "-" being subconscious or unconscious.
    2) Once again I could not perfectly differentiate adaptive vs directive in all cases, due to how we still need more research on the topic. For some their designation may change as we gather a greater sample pool to provide a wider context.

    TiSe l--- Male

    TiSe l--- Female

    Spoiler

We begin with the TiSe l--- samples which, admittedly, could be a larger in numbers. But I hope it's at least enough to establish a baseline? Just as with the FiNe samples and TiNe samples, the l--- baseline is elusive because for some reason Ji l--- are generally unavailable to the public eye until they develop a Pe or Je function. Above we see Jared Leto and Taylor Swift in their default states, but I will also be showing videos below of them modulating up their functions.
We see in all three samples a very comfortable receding posture, a nativity in inaction, a delicacy and poise, and what we call the Ji "spine" that sits at the center of their convictions:
    Ti Default Core

^ J-lead Rigid Posture + Ji Momentum Halting + Ji Eyes Disengage Down

^ J-lead Rigid Posture + Ji Momentum Halting + Ji Eyes Disengage Down

^ J-lead Rigid Posture + Ji Momentum Halting + Ji Eyes Disengage Down
    Psychology
I'd like to skip to the end, and begin with a psychoanalysis of Jared and Taylor, who I think can set the tone for what TiSe's are like in general. As poised and reserved as they appear here in their default state, both are known to be extremely hands-on and devoted to their craft. Jared Leto shows insane levels of Ji perfectionism by immersing himself fully in his roles, to the point of losing high levels of weight, putting on weight, and living life as a trans woman Rayon on and off camera to embody the part and not break the immersion. A quote from him:
"I feel like she became a person, a real person," he said. "Especially because I was so deep inside of her. I really feel like I got to know this person. It became like a living, breathing life. It was a once-in-a-lifetime role."
I'd then like to juxtapose this behavior against Taylor Swift who, at the age of ~12 began trying to get a label, and got her family to move cities at age 14 to pursue her ambitions. She too is very hands-on with her music, and is easily goaded into things when someone tells her she can't do them. This is a common theme we'll see in this thread, as TiSe's tend to have this passion for mastery than can become obsessive.
Additionally, much like FiSe Michael Jackson, Taylor Swift puts on enormous shows and tours that would, in typical typology nomenclature, designate one as a native extrovert. Yet she admits to spending all her non-music hours sitting at home watching with her two cats, and is reserved and reclusive in person. There is a mismatch between the extremity of the craft and the placidity of the personality behind it. It would seem to me like TiSe's simply have the devotion and willpower to press into the fires, in opposition to their own energetics, and this is not unrelated to the Mind-over-Body theme we see in the Beta quadrant.

    TiSe ll-- Adaptive Female

    Spoiler

Here we see the ll-- development, where the TiSe gains the momentum provided by Se. My primary task is to differentiate these from SeTi so I'll be focusing on how Se looks beneath a Ji structure. First, here are a few GIFs of them in their Ti default state:
    Ti Default Core

^ J-lead Rigid Body + Ji Momentum Halt + Ji Meticulous Fingers

^ J-lead Rigid Body + Ji Momentum Halt + Ji Eyes Disengage Down

^ J-lead Rigid Body + Ji Momentum Halt + Ji Eyes Disengage Down
And here are a few GIFs of Pe momentum in action.

^ Pe Bubbling Momentum + P Casual Hands

^ Pe Bubbling Momentum + Pe Body Swaying

^ Pe Bubbling Momentum + P Casual Hands
Just like the TiNe ll-- samples, we see the same neutralization and return to inaction (Ti core) as with the l--- samples... but with the capacity to veer away from that into fluidity in small bursts. The important distinction is that the body is always deflating by default, and these casual hands and body sways are stacked atop of a rhythm that is seeking to 'land' and 'stop' in some more rigid place. The opposite is true of SeTi vultology which is in a constant drift, and has to take an intermission in order to "halt". We can see this in GIFs of SeTi ll-- such as:

^ Pe Bubbling Momentum ...leading into Ji Momentum Halt
This GIF is kinda long but there are two parts to it. The first part of it is Pe-lead eye-centricity, ongoing movements, bubbling momentum, eye-toggling (Se head-eye parallel motion). But notice the nature of the transition to the second half of the GIF (Ti). Rather than it being a retreat into a Ti core, with the kind of delicacy and poise we see in the above samples, it appears that Jetplane simply gets throttled in his body rhythm. There's an almost elvish quality to native Ti and a sense that the halting momentum is self-initiated. For TiSe's their Ti has a "coming home" qualia, which we don't see in Jetplane.

^ P Body Swaying + Ongoing Movements ...leading into Ji Momentum Halt
We see a less extreme example here but I still want to include it. The GIF again has two parts, with the first being a general P-lead gliding body rhythm, which just slows down more until it's driven internally. When Ti-leads retreat internally, there's a sense of absolute abandon of the external. The object is rejected outright, for the pursuit of some inner impression which is coveted as a place of relief. I am sorry for using such qualia-heavy terms here but I hope the distinction comes through? If it helps, try reviewing the sets of GIFs above a few times, and look for these tell-tale signs. It really hits you after the second or third time.
    Psychology
There are a lot of actresses here. But like with other types, I tend not to give the occupation of actor/actress much weight due to us having so many actors from our hollywood-heavy sample pool. But for our one non-actor here, Skylar Grey, we see a few similar themes to Taylor Swift. A focus on self-sufficiency, to the degree of isolating herself in the woods and being one's own writer, singer, producer, etc. Resisting dependency on others. Ji-leads appear to like taking control over the entire pipeline of an art production, or as much of it as possible. This isn't a given, as other artists and musicians are typically more open to work in groups and bands. Ji-lead musicians, including FiSe's and FiNe's, appear to like going "solo" more, even though some Pe-leads do so too. I hope to have more to say on this vultology as more non-hollywood samples arrive.

    TiSe ll-- Adaptive Male

    Spoiler

Here we see ll-- Kilian, who displays the same combination of delicate Ji poise, with an added layer of Pe energy that emerges only in little bursts before it deflates back to a receding energy. Here are a couple GIFs showing the two states:

^ J-lead Rigid Body + Ji Poise + Ji Momentum Halt

    ^ Se Intense Eyes + P Body Swaying + P Casual Hands
Unlike the l--- samples above, Kilian does break into Pe signals on occasion, rather than remaining always still. But the default state he returns to is still very apparent. No Je development, as was expected! It would be interesting to flesh out the description of the TiSe ll-- by learning more about you. :)

    TiSe l-l- Directive Male

    Spoiler

    Compilation (watch full screen)

Here we see our first clear example of l-l- or Ti+Ni conscious. Double introverted. (Faeruss your older video was a bit unusable but you are further down below)
We see a great deal of Pi inertia, Ni zone-outs and eye-drifts. Here are a few GIFs showing this:

    ^ Pi Inertia + Ni Zone-out + Ji Meticulousness

    ^ Pi Inertia + Ni Zone-out + Ji Meticulousness
His eyes drift to the sides as he also drifts in though, sourcing through recall. His energy is very slowed down due to a combination of Ji momentum halting and Pi viscosity. His posture remains rigid, yet also sinks. But having noted the Ni signals, it becomes important to differentiate this type from the NiFe. The primary component to look for is the presence of that native Ji core. Even if the GIFs above, we can see a delicacy and finesse to his fingers, a composure behind his slouching, and a prominent hesitation. We see this come out clearly in GIFs like:

^ J-lead Rigid Body + Pe Eye Toggling + Ji Meticulous Hands
Notice how he is innately technical, hesitant, carrying reviser doubt even though he's got a lot of Pi slowdown. As with the ll-- types, we know that Ti is central due to how energies are returning to Ti, rather than returning to Ni. We can contrast this against NiFe l-l- Humberto Maturana in the GIF below:

^ Pi Inertia + Ji Momentum Halt... leading into Je head push
    This GIF has several parts.
    1) A Ji pause
    2) A small Je head push
    3) A Ji pause
    4) A medium size Je head push + Body Swaying
What we see here is Ji functioning in an intermittent fashion, slowing down momentum at intervals, but ultimately Maturana returns to Conductor energy (Pi+Je) every time. We see Ji pausing but we don't see reviser doubt in Maturana as much, nor do we see the poise of a Ji spine beneath. And by this we know Maturana is NiFe, unlike Michael Pitt.

    TiSe l--l Directive Male

    Spoiler

Here we have TiSe with conscious Fe development. This adds a directivity to the personality which is evident in Leto and Brownlee alike. But first, the vultology. As noted in the TiNe thread, the difference between conscious Je and unconscious Je in the Ji-lead hierarchy has to do with the quality of the hand gestures, not in the presence or absence of hand gestures themselves. Je consciousness is marked by resoluteness, force and the presence they carry and are delivered with. Below we have a few GIFs showing the difference in energy between this development and the ll-- one:
    Conscious Je Gestures

Compare to Pe signals in the ll-- development:
    Non-conscious Je Gestures

As you can see, the ll-- types have P Casual Hands which swing more side-to-side in rhythm with the higher fluidity of their posture. The Je-conscious individuals have a more forward/back tempo, a greater angularity in their delivery, and and overall larger unification between all aspects of the body. The head nod, torso, arms, hands, mouth, eyebrows.. all work in greater unison to give a cohesive delivery.
    Psychology
We touched briefly on Jared Leto in the l--- section, but here we see him again modulating Fe. As we would expect of conscious Je, he's got agency in the world, manifested here by his show of entrepreneurship, interest in investments, and proactive management. The full interview has him talking about how he's excelled at identifying startups before they went big (like AirBnb) and helping them out. Not too dissimilar is the case of Marques Brownlee, who also has interests in the tech world, a great deal of agency (he runs his own studio, and has produced 1,000+ videos for youtube showcasing his Ti diagonostician tendencies) and follow through.
We see Marques Brownlee as an example of a TiSe Ace, rising to prominence as possibly the most famous tech reviewer; being acutely focused on precision, aesthetics, ergonomics, and a kind of 49/51 analysis of smartphones and cameras. We see a lot of his focus on the photographic aspect of Se via his critique of camera images, and the persistence effect in how the tiniest inconveniences can sour the experience of a smartphone. He reviews tech not just for its specs, but for how they interweave into the human experience.. which is not an aspect other reviewers share to the same degree. To do this he calls on his own Ti and always admits that his reviews are highly subjective, from the point of view of one user.

    TiSe lll- Adaptive Male

    Spoiler

Now we have the lll- development, or J(PP) which is the benchmark for the maximal P energy that can exist in a TiSe. The entirety of the Se/Ni axis is contained within a Ti hierarchy. One way to visualize Elon Musk's development is as l-l- Michael Pitt, with a pinch of Pe thrown in. Try imagining Pitt with Pe, and you get Elon.
To demonstrate this more precisely, here are a few GIFs showing the various aspects at play. It's a bit difficult to parse them out exactly, since Ti+Se+Ni are all happening at once, but here is a partial attempt:
    Ti:

^ J-lead Rigid Body + Ji Eyes Disengage Down
We see Ti as the retreat-point for Elon in all his videos, with a constant habit of deflating, as well as stopping to meticulously construct the next sentence. This also leads to hesitation in the form of stuttering and re-wording. And from this initial place, we have:
    Se:

^ Pe Bubbling Momentum + Pe Body Swaying
Movement is added via Se with side-to-side swaying, and animation.
    Ni:

    ^ Ni Inertia + Ni Zone-out
Lastly, we have Ni's influence in making his posture even more fluid and viscous, while still never breaking free of Ji's control of the body.
    Psychology
It goes without saying that Elon Musk is another Ace example, having the same sort of ambitious drive we see in Taylor Swift and Jared Leto, but with high-level success in three major industries (re: Tesla, SpaceX, Solar City) and several minor ones. His focus, as admitted in interviews, is a return to first principles thinking, and constructing solutions as a sort of reverse-engineering project, after the "Ideal" has been properly formulated. This is a very Ji sort of approach. Elon is, despite all appearances, not a typical Je-lead CEO. He's a Ji-lead CEO with high levels of pain tolerance, zeal, passion... driven to bring the world of reality (Je) closer to a pure inner vision (Ji+Ni) of the future.
He is a bit of an senex/oracle, if you follow his work, and has aspects of Ni's Apocalyptic Visions. He believes A.I. has a high chance of destroying humanity, is wary of humanity not surviving a catastrophe without a second home (Mars), and also feels we are most likely living in a simulation.
But at the same time, he's a bit of an Se trickster, and enjoys upsetting the status quo. He names a company "The Boring Company", funds it using hat sales, then not-a-flamethrower sales. He launched his Tesla Roadster into space, and is known for his twitter antics, smoking weed on Joe Rogan's podcast.. and he appears indifferent to all of it.
This is also why it makes sense that his Fe is not as conscious as his other functions, despite his insane drive. He doesn't really integrate Fe values such as a management of social dynamics, marketing, PR departments, etc. Much like TiNe Noam Chomsky, he opposes those things in (Ti) principle. And yet, I would say his ego association is in Fe, due to the mythologized relationship he has to it. He's a very fascinating, multifaceted, paradoxical individual.

TiSe ll-l Adaptive Female / The Poised Actor

    Spoiler

Now here we see the TiSe displaying the maximal amount of extroverted energy, with both Se+Fe conscious. Due to this presence of double-extroversion, the net effect of this development will be on par with, or perhaps exceeding, the baseline energy of a native l--- extrovert. Here are a few GIFs showcasing the development:
    Je Conscious

^ Je Gesticulations + Ji Meticulousness

^ Je Gesticulations + Ji Meticulousness
As we saw with the l--l types, we see a firmness and angularity to their hand gestures; a force behind them. But what we also see atop of that force is a level of playful bubbling Pe energy to complement it:
    Je+Pe Conscious

^ Pe Bubbling Momentum + Je Gesticulations + Ji Meticulousness

^ Pe Bubbling Momentum + Je Gesticulations + Ji Momentum Halt
Here we see both Zoe and Taylor amping up at the beginning of the GIF, then returning to a more naturally receding energy by the end of the GIF. We can tell that this level of energy is non-native due to the compensation in the body. Not just in Zoe and Taylor, but in all the samples above, we see exertion and exhaustion. The energy does not come from the body itself, but from a sort of will to manifest it. The TiSe understands the need to convey with their body a message, and uses it as an asset for their expressiveness.
    Psychology
These types (Poised Actors) will often be ESF in temperament (due to the Se+Fe conjunction), able to navigate social situations with grace, tact and enthusiasm. Emma Anzai from Sick Puppies is known for her dramatic on-stage performances, as is Taylor Swift and occasionally also Zella Day. But much like the TiNe Socially Present, this development is a heavy modulation. There is often a need or conviction that propels their expressiveness. It's more deliberate, coordinated and calibrated than the ESF qualia we get from SeFi or even SeTi l-l- types.

    TiSe ll-l Directive Female

    Spoiler

And here we have our dear member Jelle, who I need to get a better video of! But I've placed this one here for the time being. Most of the aforementioned applies to her as well. Previously the TiSe was not understood to have such fire or capacity for social presence, both of which Jelle has mentioned having and which seemed to suggest native extroversion at first. But from what I can tell, this exists in most TiSe's as well, in a particular form that is Pe+Je.
And there is also the factor, which was overlooked before, that auxiliary Se gives the TiSe a baseline level of contact with the objective, as opposed to the TiNe.. which has been the baseline Ti-lead definition for CT out of a limited scope of understanding, but which now has to be relativized against what we see of real TiSe samples.

For the male examples, we have a fully realized Marques Brownlee and Christian Hudson (Pickup Artist). Christian fits the bill of Poised Actor best, being one who crafts his persona very meticulously to achieve certain outcomes. The level of sensational finesse that Marques devotes to his analysis of smartphones is the same level of acuity that Christian devotes to his persona. Both are animated, capable, expressive, and exist in the spotlight. As more samples come in, I hope this definition can also expand.

    TiSe l-ll Directive Male

    Spoiler

    Compilation (watch full screen)

This development is one that has both conductor functions conscious (Fe+Ni) within a reviser type. I place TiNe l-ll Noam Chomsky here for comparison to give a sense of context as Sam Harris is our only TiSe sample. Here are a few GIFs showing the signals that we see:
    Ti Default Core

^ Ji Momentum Halt + Ji Meticulous Hands
    Ni Conscious

    ^ Ni Zone-out + Pi Inertia
    Ni+Fe Conscious

    ^ Je Gesticulations + Pi Inertia + Pi Zone-out
Harriss is a curious case as he lacks reviser doubt and any sense of Pe animation. Usually even a subconscious auxiliary Pe shows its influence, but the combined effect of Pi+Je consciousness removes that energy largely from Sam Harris. And just like with Noam Chomsky, there is a scholarly Pi+Je qualia that emanates, yet it stems from a meticulous Ji origin.
    Psychology
We see the effects of this lack of reviser doubt in his philosophy, which operates as a spectrum of certainties and has closes the door to certain avenues. With conscious Ni, sometimes possibilities are no longer entertained if their probability seems to have fallen below a given threshold to the individual. For Harris this applies to subjects of supernatural phenomena, the nature of religions and the existence of God. There is a narrowness and closure on these topics due both to his Ti's principles and his Ni's worldview.
Yet we see in him a classic Fe+Ni crusading spirit in him which is, in some sense not to dissimilar to the proselytizing of various doctrines. He has an inverted FeNi life coach in him that he channels. He's an ethicist (Fe), and feels a moral obligation to fight back against the harm caused by religion in the world.
Yet although his Ni+Fe are conscious, his ego association is in Ti which remains the primary voice. That is to say, at no point does his priority shift away from T, and he remains also very literal (S) and naturalistic in his philosophy. His spirituality, however, does come out in other Ni channels... namely in his appreciation for Eastern thought, meditation, and transcendence as can be had personally without invoking any supernatural cause.
