The hands move in tall vertical lines, up and down, with only minor circular or horizontal movements. This is often accompanied by punctuated halts (R-3) at the end.

As established in Rigid Posture, Judgment firmly maintains a fixed position, steadfastly controlling its domain. Likewise, strongly vertical hand movements, which strike the same spot like a hammer going up and down, naturally emerge as a consequence of emphasizing this fixed positionality. The up and down strike is a physical embodiment of the assertion "This is my ground, the exact spot where I stand" or "This is exactly what I mean." They are effectively "nailing down" the position of ideas with precise conceptual boundaries.
