This article requires a working understanding of the vultology code.FiNeEDAMINSpoiler:
This is thread #4 of Development levels, focused on the FiNe type.
The creation of this thread –and the purging done in the process– brought to light dozens of mistypes, and in many ways marks a (re)discovery of the FiNe vultology. This will all be explained at length in the post at the end of this thread titled “The Great FiNe Purge”. It begins to give proper form to what constitutes the FiNe vultology, which has remained one of the most ambiguous until recently. The diversity of vultologies found in the old database’s FiNe’s was so severe that mistypes ranged across every energetic quadrant. What we are left with now is a much smaller, but far more pure set of FiNe samples.
The FiNe demographic is now comparable in size (~20) to the TiNe and TiSe sample group. It seems that real FiNe’s are rather rare… just as Ji-leads tend to be in general. What follows are the known categories of development as of now but do keep in mind that the whittling down of the FiNe samples also leaves much to be desired and this thread will be somewhat incomplete, but continually growing as more real FiNe’s are discovered. Here we go…!
1) The annotations (l—, ll–, lll-, llll, l–l, l-l-, l-ll, ll-l) signify function consciousness, with “l” being fully conscious and “-” being subconscious or unconscious.
2) I do not have an explanation for the lack of male samples of this vultology, as no deliberate efforts were taken to omit their presence. Thus one would imagine they have a hypothetically equal chance to display this vultology. Hopefully a larger sample size or further studies may identify what factors are at play in this.
The Great FiNe Purge
The FiNe sample count has essentially been cut in half.
Upon reflection, there was one common theme found. FiNe’s were originally being typed/identified by the presence of seelie energy and radiation. The core assumption was, more radiation = higher Fi priority. This turned out to be false. We saw this in the TeSi threads where seelie/unseelie was necessarily decoupled from Fi>Te or Te>Fi. But as a consequence, any “super seelie” type was previously assigned as an Fi-lead with little regard for their energetics. It pains me to say even the most iconic FiNe’s in our database were wrongly assigned. Here are some of the notable casualties:
