My name is Faye. My alias comes from a high school friend who used to call me "Fayest" and the 42 is because whenever I first used this username, there was already a "fayest," and I so I added 42 as a nod to The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

I've been interested in Jungian typology systems for a couple years now. I actually stumbled upon Cognitive Type pretty early on and got super excited by how detailed and thorough it seemed, but then I cooled on it for some reason I don't remember. I was just recently reminded of its existence through a YouTube comment, and I got excited all over again.

I've never really thought about it... I used to collect quotes that I liked, and I just went back to look and see if any of them would make a good life motto, but I feel like I've outgrown most of those sentiments now. I feel like having a life motto would imply that I've figured life out, and I definitely haven't. Although I haven't thought of it this way before, you might say I'm currently in pursuit of figuring out my life motto.

Favorite Flavor?

Mmm...depends on the thing being flavored 🙂 My favorite ice cream is a sadly discontinued flavor of Ben and Jerry's called Vermonty Python, which was "coffee liqueur ice cream with chocolate cookie crumb swirl & fudge cows."

Spirituality?

I'm an atheist, and, until recently, I wouldn't have considered myself spiritual. But about 4 months ago I started attending a zen buddhist center and reading a lot about buddhism. I wouldn't necessarily say I am "officially" a buddhist, but I definitely agree with many of the ideas in buddhism and I have found them helpful in my life. In many ways it seems to me to be more of a theory of human psychology than a religion, but it has made me a little more comfortable with the concept of "spirituality" nonetheless.

What got you interested in Cognitive Type?
I wanted to be sure of my type because it's important to my identity.  When I took the Myers-Briggs test in 11th grade, I'm pretty sure I ended up with a high preference for introversion, some moderate level preference for intuition and feeling, and an almost non-existent preference for judging or perceiving.  When I retook it online recently, I was "very likely" to prefer introversion and also "likely" to prefer intuition, feeling and perceiving.  A Socionics test result seemed pretty consistent with this, as I ended up as an EII-1Fi (INFj).  By self-study, I was initially torn between INFJ and INFP, but ruled out INFJ once it became clear I was Fi-dominant.  So far so good...then another possibility emerged: ISFP.  I could not at all help seeing so much of the two Fi-dominant types in myself (and even some INTP and ISTP...maybe even some ISTJ?).  My FiNi result for Cognitive Type seems to explain this confusion pretty well.  Yet interestingly, when I filled out a "What's my type?" questionnaire on a forum on another website, the person who responded said he "threw Ni out of my cognitive function stack's window" because my imagination focuses on possible branches of the present without making predictions about the future.  The reason I kept feeling like a hybrid of two types is because, in a way, I am.  It depends on perspective.  One thing is for sure: if my INFP side and my ISFP side are like sports players on a field (though I'm not athletic at all), whether they're cooperating or opposing each other (and whichever one "wins"), my dominant Fi is the field itself, which always comes out on top victorious.

Alexander, but I tend to go by Alex. However, I have very little preference. Alexander the Less is the name I adopted after making a huge effort to wipe my old screen name out of the digital memory of people I knew. I wanted to change my identity, so I adopted Alexander the Less, an obvious play on Alexander the Great. I chose it as a feeble attempt to make myself more conscious of the need to behave with greater humility.

What got you interested in Cognitive Type?

I saw a guy from a socionics discord post a link to the little debate/chat between Auburn and Jack from WSS. I'll fess up, I thought to myself, "Visual typing? Wow, this dude is nuts." Then I listened to the debate and realized that the methodology of CT offered something every typology lacked: objectivity. As someone that weekly struggled with their type in every system, I found CT refreshing.

What did/do you type as in other systems?

MBTI quizzes put me all around INFP, INTP, and INFJ.
Socionics quizzes and an array of internet typists said I was EIE (ENFj), but I would sometimes get SEI (ISFp).

My mom told my dad to decide between Paula and Monica. My parentes were among these names. On the way to the register he decided on Monica. At 28 years old, I started yoga. The monk who started me asked how I got my name. I said it was my dad who chose it. She knew that I practiced yoga because I saw my father practicing when I was a child. So she gave me an initiation name - Manika, which is Monica written in Sanskrit. I use the "two" names, although the name given by my parents, I feel, has more strength. Because they were the ones who brought me into the world.

Rajadhiraj Yoga (Rajadhiraj or Raja do Raja) or Raja Raja Yoga was a compilation of yoga philosophy and practices made by P.S. Sarkar (indian master of yoga). Its objective is spiritual liberation, through the practice of meditation, yoga postures, social work and other actions well rooted in the world. Tantra Yoga is part of Raja Raja yoga.The organization Ananda Marga, created by Sarkar or Shrii Shrii Anandamurti, has been promoting this yoga.
This path found me. I felt like this meeting had been scheduled for a long time, even before I was born. A gift I got.

Tried selftyping from books, got nowhere.
Typing service, got no result I'd accept, since the typing require development A-B-C-D meaning Id either be INTP or INFJ.
In the end I ended up on Mount Seleya, offered the Kolinahr of INTP, and the fate of a non-feeler...
(Ok.. I didn't accept the typing, honestly, laughed).
The issue is not the "INTP" itself, I think I know the personality type from some of the videos on this website, and know at least one INTP in real life, great people; I just do not find myself one. And tried to tink of myself as INFJ, which, was better but... But...
Basically MBTI feels like a jigsaw puzzle never working out, in a way, for me personally. Like it is broken, at least for me.

It's a character from JoJo. My avatar too, but they're two different characters. I don't like Dio Brando as a character, but the name sounds good. I prefer D'arby, the one in the avatar. He doesn't use sheer force but tricks, and I really enjoyed his episodes.

What did/do you type as in other systems?
I've studied all of them and have become quite good in typing others, but always lacked the capability to "see" myself. So I never typed for good. The only function I 100% related to has always been Ne... but since I'm a social introvert I was reluctant to type me as a cognitive extrovert (even though I knew social and cognitive introversion/extroversion are two different things). So, in MBTI terms, in tests i got all the values for I, N and P at around 90/100% (and according to the MBTI definitions, I do indeed clearly fit in those dichotomies). Only T/F seemed balanced in tests, but according to the definitions I always considered myself more like a T.

Don't do now what you can do later. Just kidding (am I?).

In a way I don't feel I've had much choice in where I've landed. It may sound crazy to say but I feel as though I have a mission and I was handed a responsibility to see it through to the end. By nature I'm a very isolated and uninvolved person, and I would have probably spent my life outside of the limelight and in privacy forever -- but I don't have that luxury. 🙂 There's something about human nature that I have to uncover, and can only do so via my own path.
So I very much respect that sentiment of following something that feels like destiny. I'm glad you're living true to that path.

Hey Sierra - that's a good question. To be honest, although I can read Greek my exegesis skills are not so great (I learnt Greek in a secular course). But one area that has stood out to me is the verses in the Pauline letters regarding the role of women in the church. In the English translations the meaning seems pretty clear, that they should not lead or teach, which rubs a lot of people, including me, the wrong way. But if you look the Greek it's not clear that's what he's saying at all.

What is your name? Or the story behind your alias?

Ionuț Lupu. Translated as Johnny the Wolf, I guess. Basic first name because my father wasn't that inspired. When asked if he wanted to give me another name, he said that one is enough. Wolf00 is basically my first name followed by my birth year.

What got you interested in Cognitive Type?

I randomly stumbled upon CJ's channel on youtube. Followed him for a while because I thought that the method he was using was cool. Joined a server he was in, owned by a guy who goes by the name of Von. The server got raided, Von got scared and he deleted it. Then I joined CJ's server and eventually became an admin there, since I was quite active. Time passed with me vibe typing people based on associations and guesses until Safal annoyed me to the point that I started learning the CT codifier signals. I happened to be a fairly quick learner, but I was just at the beginning of the Dunning-Kruger curve. I attempted to type CJ with my knowledge at the time and got him as TiSe - which is not right. This has sprung some stuff happening, but nothing serious. Then after a while, Azraella kinda got tired of CJ's bullshit and attacked him with FACTS. CJ has become all paranoid after this facts attack (I was siding with Az) and he then thought that I'm acting suspiciously. His second man PM-ed me to leave the server and I did leave. I then joined the CT server and started my activity there.

What did/do you type as in other systems?

Well... I thought that being disconnected from reality is Ni, so I thought I'm Ni dom. I then thought that I should have Ti, since I'm such an analytical person. So here you have it. Enneagram 6. If wings are a thing, then probably wing 5. If tritype is a thing, then I'm really not certain what I would be. I'm torn between 3 and 4 for the heart triad and 8 and 1 for the gut one.

Nope.

Too young still.

Plenty of courtyard animals, but I wouldn't call them pets.

I don't really put importance on the taste of food. I eat out of necessity to survive and to maintain my body as much as I can. I like whipped cream flavored ice cream, I guess.

Nothing clear so far. I'm open to stuff though. I could entertain the idea of spirit being of a different dimension than the one we're aware of.

Jennifer. I don’t really have an online alias, though sometimes use my middle name Mae.

England. I was born in the South but moved North as a young child and lived in the same town for the majority of my life so I guess I’m an honorary Northerner.

What got you interested in Cognitive Type?
I have been interested in MBTI and Socionics and fascinated by the idea of being able to type people by their body language and micro expressions, which lead me to find CT.
What did/do you type as in other systems?
INFP in MBTI although have been suggested by others I could be ISFJ, INFJ or ISTJ. But for me INFP feels the most right.
EII (Fi-Ne) in Socionics.
