Forum & Articles Redesign

Ahem, I'm back! 😀

So, you may have noticed some changes to the homepage design. The content previously hosted all bundled into cognitivetype.com has now finally been properly detangled across four sites:

• https://cognitivetypology.com (also reachable at simply ctwiki.co ) - this site hosts, and will host, all theory material going forward.
• https://vultology.com - this site hosts all vultology videos, courses, reports, tests, and tools going forward.
• https://nemvus.com - this site is a journal and will host more formal academic papers, pilot studies and potential scientific studies.
• https://cognitivetype.com - this leaves CT.com light as a feather, to do one job and do that one job to the max: be a forum. Well, a forum and a bit of a blog, for more casual article writings. All articles are being moved over to the articles tab.

I realized this splitting was necessary to have proper UX design going forward. Websites have changed a lot in the past years, as UX ("User Experience") design has become central to how all modern apps and sites are now designed. The previous designs of this website have frankly had awful UX design, and have been hard to navigate, with poor structure and click-barriers to finding relevant pages. I hope you guys enjoy the new design's function.

Alrighty, lets try one more time. I keep getting the site structure wrong, so maybe this time will work.

As previously mentioned, this site has two functions: Forum & Articles.

Each has a dedicated page with a top search bar on each, that searches the corresponding area of the site, like so:

The articles page has now been remodeled.

The Articles page in particular has been revamped with Article category listings on the right-hand side that you can use to more easily find important articles.

I also made a ton of important threads into articles and added them to this listing, so you can find key threads more easily.

Theory Development Pipeline

This leads me to my next point: there is now a clear path from the community's contributions up to the theory's official representation. The pathway looks like this:

Discord --> Forum --> Articles --> Wiki

Since most discussion is currently taking place on Discord in real-time, if a very important discussion is had, it will get its own thread here, for further investigation. If it then becomes a key discovery or addendum to the theory, it will be made into an Article in the articles page. And if the article is central enough to the future of the model, it will become a Wiki page on https://cognitivetypology.com/ . Credit will be given accordingly.
