Oh man, what a crazy look to his eyes. I had to build a collage and look at multiple HD videos to get a holistic sense of his ocular tension. I think he's an Ne/Si user but he's got some pointy eyebrows.
As far as his type goes, my initial impression of him was TeNi but he appears to be TeSi l-ll, of a similar shade as TeNi l-ll Max Tegmark in the database. I really don't know though. I'm having the same problem with Jesse as I had earlier with John Green. Te-lead ambiguity seems to be a common theme this round! 🙂
In either case, he's a multi-function conscious individual. Here is a little bit of what we see:

This is turning out to be far more involved than I originally planned. I'm gonna need to cut it short here, but in essence, he's a complex fellow with displays of Je, Ji and Pe. If he is an antithetical (l-ll) development, that would be very interesting to see, as it's very rare and we haven't really grasped the full extend of what it means.
I know that he's got a peculiar methodology to teaching game design, with a philosophy that's focused empowering people to have ownership of their creative work. At the very least, it seems that he does not display the typical just-Je mindsets, but has several special approaches he takes. I must admit I don't understand him yet. The margin of error on this one is pretty high too. But I hope this preview gives at least a sense of what his psychology may be.

Yay! This one is relatively straight-foward. John Cooper appears to me as an FeSi l-l-, of a similar shade as FeNi l-l- Andrew WK and FeSi l-l- Sammy Hagar. He's heavy on the Pe function, but is coming from a natively Je orientation, as we can tell from his J Subordinate Perception.

I looked everywhere for footage so I could give you leads, but I'm also not a top internet scavenger =D hopefully someone will come up with something. I'll keep searching too.
Also agree about the Fe teaching pattern!  They're made for it. And yeah, enneagram seems to span all the quadras. It has become a mess now, though 🙁
Ichazo and Naranjo both disowned their students (who spread the word far and wide) because they are sickened by the way it's being handled now... and the teachers who are predominant now.  I'm sure R&H is a main culprit here. They really fucked it up. I'm going to be addressing this in a long series of writings.

@Alice very true! To me the best approach is to combine the spiritual/archetypal with the personal growth... in a sense, they are one and the same. As above, so below. But as a teacher or thinker, very few people can bridge this gap entirely on their own. This is why I like working with a small group of enneagram savvy people (with different CTs), including my husband.. it seems to get hit from several angles then.
Interestingly, Chestnut continued the 'Naranjo school of thought,' and he is NiFe right?  In Socionics the two would be conflictors - the furthest possible personalities. Yet she took his writings and expanded on them.  Kind of reminds me of how I  (with the help of my crew, but I was leading this effort at the time) had built a whole system of pictures and ideas about Jung types, which I found Auburn (my own conflictor) had done better and more completely, so I abandoned the project.. but point being we noticed a lot of the same patterns and came up with the same typings for the same celebs. But with my personality, there's no way I could have been the one to gather all the data, explain it, etc; I just don't do Ti. I could see myself potentially writing descriptions in the far future, which would stem from his findings, which is sort of what Chestnut had done relative to Naranjo.
