PTSD, and growing up with an ill mother.
Basically, this is why my CT report showed so many signals, some issues I had in the weeks past, and emotional turbulence, and it did not occur to me, if my past interfere with MBTI or Socionics, it can do so with CT as well.
Anyway, that is it. My psychology do not reflect my type, or my genetically disposition for type, or development. I am apparently an empathic *sponge*, enjoy reality escapism, as a way to gain energy to cope with daily issues. I do not struggle with most obvious ptsd, or is not prone to depressions, really. But from my CT scores, my typing is basically looking as a role-playing character, from D&D or something, escapism. It is a weird escape, not what I recognize, but what I show on forums, online, as a persona, in a way what I would like to be, but I do not have that energy, not really. Also note, I got zero acting ability or skill, and most of my Je ability goes 100% to appease and make others happy, not disappoint, be positive, etc. There is where my empathy comes from.
What really has been going on, is I recently, as in after getting typed, figured out I have struggled my whole life with a delusional mother, who in addition to having mental issues, had them due to chronic issues of the body, and still have not had treatment or the help she needs, and at the moment, is both physical and mentally ill. I just have to realize, this never will pass, not really. She is delusional, with both mental pain, and physical, and, denies help, and lives in her own fantasy world where she is the victim, of an great conspiracy involving agents, people spying, microphones, etc.
Hey Starshade, sounds like you are Ne lead and your Je is Fe, like me. I'm also empathic and sensitive.
I think we should accept when someone we care about or love (or hate) has mental issues that seem unsermountable so we can move on and forgive. But do you believe in something beyond us? you never know if something might happen in her life that allows her to change. It is my belief that the chances are there for people to come out of their illness, but usually ignored out of fear of the unknown, or deep pain, or a deeply entrenched stagnant state.
Do you need help? You can ask me anything and I can try to answer.
Maybe forget about your type for now and try to focus on trauma mechanisms which are more related with lower parts of the brain, when type is more about expression of the neocortex.
