New CT Reading App

Hello all, I'm happy to announce the beta release of CT's online Reading app!

This is a custom coded app and will be used by vultologist in the upcoming Practitioner Program to streamline the process of identifying someone's type.  Try out the App for yourself! 🙂

I wonder though... is the video supposed to play after copying the ID? I see a display of the video populate with a play button, but nothing happens when I push it.
Anyway, I tried it with Paul Banks and got the result I think he probably is. What I’ve mostly learned from this is there are still so many signals that I don’t recognize or of which I am unsure when I see them:

Update:
Added a "How to Use" video to the opening post above, showing how one could use this tool.
So my main hope for this tool is that it can make the vultology code accessible and not like an enormous chore. You guys can let me know if the app feels like something worth reusing as a staple in the practitioner toolbox. If not, I'll keep modifying it until the reading experience is ergonomically friendly -- with a nice user interface. That's essential for scaling up CT as a practice and increasing team accuracy.
@elisaday - Oh right, sometimes more parts of the URL need to be removed. The video ID is this part below in blue:

I mentioned removing the beginning, but not the end bits-- whoops. So when some extra stuff is added at the end it doesn't work yet. This is easily fixed in the code but I didn't get around to it for this beta version. But for now the solution is just to grab the ID which ends before the "&" sign. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I would find it logical if the order of the last two functions (Ne and Se) were turned around.
But even better it would be to have pairs of functions beside each other, there would be room for that without the navigation menu which is then not necessary.
Like:
Fi    Te
Ti    Fe
Si    Ne
Ni   Se
 
I tend to look at the darkest color among the results when looking for the most probable type. So every time I look at it I have to think, oh if was opposite and turn it around.

Its obvious that I must still miss some signals, but I have the feeling that we might here have yet another TeNi !
John Lennon have been typed several times by members at the old site as NiTe, but I find him more Te than Ni in this clip (and also Se/Pe).   (MBTI folks have had him typed as many different types)
Wouldn´t  it be nice to have also  a sympathetic person as an example of the unseelie TeNi ?

Update:
App is now able to take in the whole youtube url in whatever format.. without needing to add just the ID.

Thanks for the tutorial, the explanation, and the fixes, @auburn. I think the problem is simply that I’m almost always using my phone. I can never get get videos to play in this forum anyway. It’s okay, I can jump back and forth between apps like a caveman.
This was my review of John Lennon, @sekunder. I couldn’t really see his eyes and the only Ni signal I really saw was one zone out, so TeNi won. Could Yoko perhaps be NiTe?

@Elisa Day -   interesting that you get same result !   I find him very insteresting (as person AND vultology-wise),  and might make a topic about him, because I think he is so difficult.  The difficult part for me is how much Pe there is: nothing,  like you tend to think or much, like I tend to think?  And if Pe then it must be Se, but it looks a lot like Ne sometimes.

Yea, I think he's gamma too (TeNi lll- seems most probable but SeFi isn't impossible).
Also I made note of this recently on Discord that for checking the P axis among people of older videos (back before 720p) ...its best to rely on google images to see the eye quality. This is because the ocular tension of the eyelids is so subtle that you really do need pixel-level visual resolution. What happens is the blurriness of pre-720p video cameras makes more people look Si/Ne than actually are because the full "sharpness" of Se and Ni shows up only when you have sharp image quality.

Great!  I then guess the problem typing him is the mentioned difficulty typing people who are very developed (integrated would be a word that was easier to use for me).  It was/is difficult for me to see if his movements was rigid or fluid, they seem both at the same time.  Also in his psychology I can see both, he was very anti-authoritarian freedom loving in his views but it came out in a very harsh, judging way.  His voice was like a knife and he usually seemed ready to stab the person in front of him. I was speculating about SeFi too, but isnt it hard to find much Fi in his vultology? (besides the unseelieness)  I can see Fi in his individualistic, anarchistic idealism, and the way emotions came out in his music (the opposite of McCartneys extroverted F as I see it), very often cynical, sometimes dreamy and vulnerable, but it never felt hopelessly naive, which could then be due to the Te-ness and the unshakable Ni together.  I find that TeNi III-  really captures the facets of his personality, which I havent seen other personality systems been able to.

@jasonfillion - Oh, yea you're Ni+Ti, and it doesn't know how to translate that yet. It should be giving NiFe as the output, but I need to refine the math.
Atm it multiplies the top two function signals together, rather than looking at function pairs as a whole. So it's reading more Ni+Te than Ni+Fe, even though you clearly have more Ti/Fe signals altogether. I'll put this refinement in the next adjustment to the tool. Good catch!

This web app is awesome!
I noticed that both in the Vultology Codex and in the app, there's no Te dismissive brow raises or Fe warm brow raises. Were these removed because they were seen to be unreliable? Or was it in an effort to keep each cognitive function codified in ten signals?
