This is the first five profiles broken into segments and then shuffled.
You can answer anyone them from strongly agree to strongly disagree.
Auburn has been given access to control this project at anytime.
If things stick to my simple plan I'll have the combined results posted here by Monday.
Please have your gmail accounts ready. Goodluck everybody!
PS: SeTi I--I wow. I'm feeling like a refined master of the perspectives! Polar Bear Baby?!
Edit: Clicking the image or the short link will send you directly to the survey in normal mode. Thx for the complaints.?
Ok, I pre-filled and got the link. Where do I stick it?
***EDIT***
never mind, I figured it out. Submitted 🙂
I haven't finished my morning coffee yet. What do we do once we have the link?
Where do I upload this? Is it supposed to be a long weird link?
Finished and submitted. Why do you have it set up that way though, why not just have the submit button in the first place?
@Animal you paste the link you copied in a new tab/window, go to the bottom and click Submit. I had to refresh the page after pasting the link.
@alerith THANK YOU! <3 Makes sense. Also, cool test. Thanks @EpicEntity <3
I hardly related to any of the Pe questions though :/ I really do not relate to these threads describing "new things all the time" and "a variety of interests." I'm just really curious what is going on with this. I wonder it's just me or if there's something off with how Pe is approached?
I'm a tightwad when it comes to where I put my energy, and what I participate in. A lot of the Ji questions were 100% for me. If anyone thinks I'm lying or don't know myself look at my website and the many many decades of work that are on it. And read my 1000 page book when it comes out, which I've been editing for 10 years. I really don't spend time exploring or seeking newness, being bored and antsy, and filling the hole. I do the same thing every day and barely leave the house, and the more time I have to just focus on my art, with no other obligations, the happier I am. I do my best to keep my schedule open so I can refine and refine my projects. My pragmatism goes toward finding ways to minimize how much time I need to spend away from my projects while maximizing my income. When I was healthy and very young, I practiced singing for up to 12 hours a day. My speech and reaction time with thoughts is fast and immediate, and when I am out, I'll explore things momentarily with no planning - but my lifestyle choice overall is one of refined focus on arts, and always has been. I don't even enjoy going on vacation unless I'm filming, taking pictures, writing or somehow continuing my (very few) major ongoing projects. I do relate to the revised Se description strongly, and it sums up my themes well, but theres something in general Pe "newness," "scatteredness" and "variety" that just is so opposite of me.
I'm excited to see how others respond. I would be even more curious to see responses by type. Like how do Pe leads respond? What about Se vs Ne? Etc. Maybe one day. =). It's fine if it's just me and I'm an oddball but I hope one day things will make more sense. A lot of it is fitting together more and more, but there are still things that don't add up.
Thanks for the instructions. Submitted now. Can’t wait to see the results. Thanks for organising the survey. ?
Oh snap good job guys!
Hold on... I'll try to make the link easier and provide additional instructions.
The profiles are broken into segments and then shuffled. I thought it would be valuable to see how members rate each segmented thought in isolation. Because of certain reactions I am starting to think doing it that way may have butchered something essential in which Auburn was trying to relay.
For the course of the week. I am going to do another batch of questionnaires. This time it will not alter any words in attemp to isolate ideas. They will be even smaller sections that will be an successive order one question after another not shuffled at all. One questionnaire for each profile. Color codings will be included if possible within Google Forms
@animal as may well already know it's all a work in progress what matters most is your participation.
I submitted it too.
I think it can be very useful because maybe we agreed with a certain development level profile as a whole but if you split it in parts, we might not agree with each of the paragraphs. Also, there are nuances. There is a difference between strongly agree and somewhat agree.
It would be great if some patterns were discovered. Maybe many people who share a certain development level will answer some questions the same way and looking at the answers will be informative.
I have to say it's hard for me to answer some of the questions, because I agree with one part of the question and disagree with the rest. For example :
As a creative (not sure if I can consider myself creative, ok, let's say this is a word that could describe me if you think of it as a personality trait - somewhat agree), you’re known for experimenting in various artistic areas (disagree, I don't do anything artistic) and have a reputation as a connoisseur (strongly disagree). However, although you dabble in many fields, you’re far from frivolous in your pursuits (I agree with this part).
Hence I think some answers might not be relevant, because there are many points in each paragraph that can be agreed or disagreed with. I don't know what the solution is...in my opinion if there is a "but" the paragraph must be split in 2 separate questions. Because if I say I somewhat agree or somewhat disagree, it can mean I agree with one part and disagree with the other...but this is not that informative since you don't know what I agree and what I disagree with. I hope this makes sense. Basically - some sentences are too long and contain too many separate points in order for us to be able to completely agree or disagree with them, unless you split them even more.
But it is pretty long already and takes time to answer, so we should think how to solve this issue while also splitting some paragraphs. Maybe split them a bit more and just give every person 20 random ones to answer? If they are connected, like parts of the same paragraph, they can come together, but as separate questions. Like :
As a creative, you’re known for experimenting in various artistic areas.
You have a reputation as a connoisseur.
Although you dabble in many fields, you’re far from frivolous in your pursuits.
Because these are separate issues. How others perceive you - as a connoisseur - is not necessarily connected to what you do - experimenting with art - and also both are separate issues from having frivolous pursuits (which a person who is perceived as a connoisseur can have - or not - for example).
Later edit - By the way, when I first read the profile I didn't even notice these issues with this particular paragraph, because I read the profile as a whole and strongly agreed with it as a whole.
But indeed if you split it in parts, you can see discrepancies easier.
I would strongly agree with it if it was phrased like this :
As a creative person, you’re known for experimenting in various areas. You may be a connoisseur in certain fields of high interest. Although you dabble in many fields, you’re far from frivolous in your pursuits.
But this is very close to what the description says anyway, no? Essentially the same thing about the person's energetics and behaviorism but without some particular aspects connected to field of expertise and my own capacity of evaluating other people's evaluations of myself, that may be accurate or not :)))) which is really a lot to ask from an Fi user with a 9 fix.
Now... in terms of typology it is irrelevant I don't do art, as long as I dabble in typology, tarot, astrology and law, of course. I still experiment in different areas, just not artistic ones. BUT I can't say yes, I do art. Because I don't. :))) Hence the answer is I somewhat agree - and this in light of the fact I get the thinking behind the question.
The point is - you might get answers that don't perfectly align with the person's dev level if the question contains parts that are not directly connected to the type/dev level but are just possible consequences of it...possible manifestations, not the essence.
But it doesn't mean these parts can't stay in the profile if they still are aligned to some people's experience and give the profile color and shape. Just they might not work as well in a questionnaire format and might need some rephrasing for this purpose, I think.
Oh ! This was actually a question coming from the PeJi I-I- profile and I am II--. So I actually have not analysed it before but thought I have because I read all of them, so it sounded familiar.
I think the observations are relevant anyway. 🙂
The suggestion to give each person 20 random questions would be a good idea. I started filling out the questionnaire but stopped when I saw how long it was.
@Bera
I was Pe I-I- for half my life and I agree with you.
I've never been a connoisseur in many areas. Only in the one I focused on - music.
Honestly, I find the whole "variety" thing insulting. Some people like to be a jack of all trades and master of none. That's totally fine for them. But for myself and many other Pe leads (like Trent Reznor, Jeff Martin, Lzzy Hale) - there has only been one thing we ever wanted to do, and we aimed to master that one thing to the fullest. Lzzy Hale talks about this all the time, it's not a mystery. I was forced away from that one thing when I lost my voice and it was absolutely traumatizing. I did not feel there were a million other options. I simply could not see myself doing anything else.
I much prefer what you wrote - a connoisseur in areas of high interest. Â
This accounts for the Pe leads who can only see themselves doing one thing AS WELL AS the Pe leads who have a variety of interests. This correction goes beyond just 'the question on the test' and veers into the essential points in the general descriptions.
@Ivory is more into seeing himself as a jack of many trades. You all know how much I love and worship his mind. I don't see it as an insult toward him because that's what he does and what makes him thrive. It's insulting toward me because it's the opposite of what I find fulfilling and I see the same in many other Pe leads. So telling me I spread myself thin when I have been traumatized to hell and back from losing my 'one thing' and then spent 20 years slaving away at the craft of writing, is insulting. (The only other interest I take on is typology because it helps with language and characters - and I dive in deep and take it all the way.) And it's not just me, it's also insulting to my Pe lead music idols who are groundbreaking bests in the world.
I'm not taking any insults 'personally,' nor am I angry at anyone, but I'm just explaining how this approach of 'many many new things' and 'trying out so many varieties' is insulting to the passionate obsession people who are Pe leads, as it denies their character. @Devon has also been doing art obsessively and singularly for as long as I can remember.
I also strongly agree with separating the questions so people can agree with each part on its own. I had the same problem where I strongly agreed with part of the question but not the other. But it was an awesome first attempt, Epic. I love it! This might be something to think about in the future for CT tests though. =)
This segment brings me great confusion:
Your speech can come out haphazardly when you bounce around thoughts faster than you can revise them. Yet as a whole you make up for these difficulties with your proliferation and rapid prototyping.
What does this mean?
I look forward to responding to some of the above later on. For now I wanted to share something I finished 3 days ago. I want to do a google version of it. As survey heart does't allow for co-ownership and has less options in general. So I will share this in hopes that you fillers also fill the final Pe I--- version when it comes out. Which also ask about entire paragraphs and the entire profile.

PS: I wouldn't be surprised if Auburn brings this whole operation to the next level in due time if not pretty soon.
This segment brings me great confusion:
Your speech can come out haphazardly when you bounce around thoughts faster than you can revise them. Yet as a whole you make up for these difficulties with your proliferation and rapid prototyping.
What does this mean?
as i understood it - it means you speak like you're on crack and/or can't get to the point simply. but you make a lot of ideas and "get" stuff very quickly.
@EpicEntity the people here (myself being very high on this list) are critical for the sake of the project but you are doing AWESOME, thank you for doing this, just wanna say. I say that to Auburn often too because I am so critical and it just has to be said. 😛 I'm only critical because I like what is happening and hope to see it soar to the skies.
I want add a few more terms to the Pe vocab: Enablers, free associaters, someone that can take an artform see how it is interlinks with to other artforms more so than the other orientations. A master Pe may appear to be the "Jack of many traits", but are really specialist with the widest degree of resources.
Warning: My level of Pi may or may not have deluding effect on the opinion above.
Or maybe there are generalist, but the way, order, and reason that they associate with each activity creates a kind of unique experience that acts as a specialty within itself that equally appears to be "Jack of many traits".
Okay so we stop at 10 members.
You should be able to view respones through here.

Down here is the spread sheet. You can view and comment!

As you go through the spread sheet a helpful thing to do is write down in order the basic information.

This is super interesting, but what does your first note mean? That I agreed with 4 JiPe gamma traits? Out of how many?
@Elisa Day In hopes that this answers your question... The First note helps to keep track of everybody when you are trying reference each person as you go through the LONG digital spread sheet. The second note was for figuring who fit which profile and how much each one agree with their respective profile. I didn't know how to make all of this automatic being such a noob at spread sheets. If it was Auburn... likely he would have HAD to make as much as possible proper and perfect... which is cool, but I am pretty chill in that regard lol!
