As far as Je goes, I'm quite confident he has it as well. It can be perceived in his articulation and so on.

Hmm, I have typed Mike Patton too. I find him an interesting shade of whatever type he is, reminds of certain people I've met. I've typed him as SeTi though. He seems for sure to me to have that cunning and charming quality of beta quadra. It's funny, because in this old interview, he talks about how he's so bored with modern music and I kind of relate to what he's saying. I wonder if it's Ji perfectionism + Pe desire for novelty ?

Looks like an Ne lead, I see eye centric movement and Pe bounciness consistently throughout the video, Ne eyes and eyebrows. Yes, Fe gestures too, very soft and unaggressive. I agree he is Directive too, but not because of his vultology (because his vultology Fe soft gestures would indicate adaptiveness), rather I see he is a bodybuilder, meaning sacrificing some bodily pain for an outcome, his image. I see the directive attitude as self-sacrificing, enduring pain for an ideal or outcome or principle (being "tough"). Also, he is not Pe child like in his cognition (naive), so I assume he has had some Si development (but it is not fully conscious/in control and his Pe energy still leads).
Therefore, I see NeTi Ι-I-

Hey @wolf00, nice to meet you. Yes, I think you can see that he is mentally Ne surfing too lol rocking back and forth. Also, in the video he says that you should ignore or lessen recovery time (from pain) in order to continue your bodybuilding goals. But I think many people would think he is adaptive. I think we should base directive/adaptive on cognition rather than attitude. Am I the only one that is seeing the difference?

I have often seen a pattern where people are attracted to people with similar types as themselves. Do you feel that there is truth to this? Do you feel you speak a common language or have a core similarity to others who share your cognitive functions? Do you find yourself confused or even annoyed with other types who have a different approach to life or communication?

Well, the last girls I was attracted to were gammas (TeNi and SeFi), I think. Weirdly, I don't think I have many gamma friends (I don't even get friendships that well tbh). Most of my relationships seem to be more  non-direct through my NeTi friend who's more socially focused than me.
Now, answering to your questions more specifically, I've seen that there's more of an ease of talking with people from the same quadra, where we "anticipate" similar things, so interactions turn to be easier.
I'm not annoyed with different cognitive types in particular, but with other particularities in people. Type may play a part in not getting along, but I really don't see it as an important factor at all.
