    Hello,
These are the next round of reading requests from Patreon contributors, thank you guys for your support. Here goes!
Please bear in mind these are not "full reports", so there's some possibility of a revision within the Margin of Error opening sections until they're added to the official Database.

    Shia LaBeouf

    Spoiler

    Edit:

    @nadia
    - Okay so looking more keenly at LaBeouf (because he was bugging me), what I notice is that I was mistaken about his past self. The video reference I used above doesn't show his whole upper body, or expressive range. But when I went to look at more videos, what I saw is that he hasn't changed from when he was a kid until now.
Here he is in 2003 -- appearing as FeSi:

And here he is in 2014:

Here are some GIFs to compare:
    4:28

^ Je Gesticulation > Pe Bubbling Momentum
    1:56

^ Je Gesticulation > Pe Bubbling Momentum
    And current...
    0:39

^ Je Gesticulation > Pe Bubbling Momentum
What we see is that he had conscious Pe+Je even from childhood, which is rare, much like our sample Tanmay Bakshi -- so that threw me off. But I really feel confident about FeSi for him, after doing a proper and more complete survey.
Although there's plenty of both Pe and Je, his movements are angular before they're fluid. He's got Je authority before he has Pe childishness. There's structure to his body, and he's very articulate in a way that shows native use, rather than modulated use of Fe.

    Nelson Mandela

    Most likely: SiFe ll--

    Unlikely: other Alpha
Nelson Mandela was actually front and center on my list for the upcoming SiFe thread already. There was some earlier discussion of him being FeSi, iirc, but in light of all recent Fe-lead clarifications, Si-lead becomes quite evident. Here is a clip I've prepared for the upcoming SiFe thread:

    Besides the eye-centricity...
    0:00

    ^ P Eye-Centric + Pi Searching Scowling
...We can see P>J priority in the quality of his Je, such as in GIFs like:
    0:13

    ^ P Casual Hands + Je Gesticulation (i.e. P Subordinate Judgment)
These hands are the epitome of Conductor + P-lead, I'm really glad he demonstrates this signal so clearly. Notice how his hands are clearly gesticulating with forwardness, yet they lack angularity. The movements are circular (literally) rather than angular/linear, and the wrists remain rather stiff and lumbering rather than mechanical and precise.
The delivery is not only coated with Fe warm swelling but also with a lack of Je impact. They appear more "suggestive" than "assertive" or "commanding." This suggestive-vs-assertive quality is apparent throughout his video, as Pi is more about giving counsel than it is about taking command. He does, however, have conscious Fe, I think.
More on him in the upcoming SiFe thread.

    Jimmy Fallon

    Spoiler

    Margin of Error
    Most likely: NeTi / SeTi
    Less likely: SeFi
    Unlikely: FeSi
My gosh @nadia you picked a tricky one! I'm either gonna get this counter-intuitively right, or terribly wrong. I think I've been avoiding Jimmy Fallon for a while now because of his mixed signals but I think we are seeing an Umbi-like NeTi with Gamma-esque facial anatomy? Here's the gamma-esque default facial anatomy:

He has an "H" shape smile stretching, and this very flat eye area that appears taut. However, as far as I can tell, that's where the Se/Ni and Fi/Te signals stop.

    • I don't see any asymmetrical mouth movements
    • I don't see Te snippiness
    • I don't hear Te nasal monotone voice
    • I don't see either unseeliness or seeliness

This last point is of special interest. He's got light F for sure. And he's a Pe-lead, almost certainly. And so we'd expect seelie signals to show up but we know exactly how PeFi's display seelieness. We have plenty of evidence for it, but we see something different in him. He appears exceptionally placid, giving Fe adaptive emulations and so on:

His laughter follows the Fe chuckle pattern of discreet "ha ha ha"s... rather than an uncontrolled radiation. And he's able to turn it on and off. This level of coordination seems unlikely for Fi.
Also, he has Fe warm swelling and when he's more slowed down we can see the Fe/Ti oscillation in action in videos like this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CztT_pBFQv8 - such as in:
    3:01

^ Fe On-Beat Emphasis + Fe Warm Swelling
    4:53

^ Fe On-Beat Emphasis + Fe Warm Swelling
    0:00

His eyes are a little more difficult to explain and from a static view I have little justification for Ne over Se. Fortunately, the static view is not the only recourse for identifying a function's presence. When it comes to the more psychologically tied aspects, I am registering Ne Tangent Hopping, Ne Indiscriminate Correlating and Ne (?) Parodies. In addition, I see tangible signals such as Ne Buoyant Undercurrent and lack of Se Bodily Presence -- but perhaps he's a Dave Chappelle-like SeTi  comedian who's learned to be improvisational.
In any case, I don't think I have the ability to go into this at the moment, so I will just leave it at PeTi l-l- Adaptive. That much I feel I can tentatively suggest.

    Sean Plott

    Spoiler

    Margin of Error
    Most likely: TeNi l-l- Unseelie
    Less likely: SeFi l-l- Unseelie
    Unlikely: Anything Else

This one is vultologically quite obvious, so I won't spend too much time on the visuals. The basic Gamma signals can be seen here:

The function order is within Te>Se or Se>Te, but we see that he does possess "structure" and angularity in GIFs such as:
    1:32

    1:17

But I need to really compare it against the not-yet-done TeNi vultology thread to be sure of how SeFi l-l- precisely differentiates from TeNi l-l-, so this is within the margin of error presently. He resembles Josh Constine a lot.

    Te Steamrolling + Ni Fatalism?

What I'm most interested about is what he says in the video. What he describes in the video is an eerie example of Te steamrolling combined with Ni fatalism, where he's put an operation into effect (Te), and projects the consequences forward (Ni) in such a way where he can't even stop his own train -- despite the fact that the event hasn't yet happened. This, I think, is a form of Te "avalanching" but I've never heard a psychological experience quite like this.
There's a sense of Te execution with Ni linear commitment, so that the whole equation has to be played out in full without pivoting midway. Indeed the Te+Ni combination is the most one-track-mind, echoing back to Te+Se Charlie Sheen's famous meme:

Sean's also a typical Te physics/engineering buff - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QqtTS8SzhQ0 - and for all the same process-oriented reasons that characterize his J axis.

    Margin of Error
    Most likely: TeSi l-l-
Less Likely: TeSi of other development
    Unlikely: SiTe
    Dan is to the left:

This one is again pretty straightforward. Dan is a TeSi Eccentric Nerd and professional Esports Starcraft player who is more immersed into it than most (from what I gather of his 17+ years in the game).

Besides being Delta, which is apparent from his function signals, he displays an abundance of Si concerned concentrated scowls, and has heavy Si slanting outer edges and Si indented sockets -- as tends to happen from high-Si's continual presence in the psyche over decades.
His Te priority and Conductor Energy can be identified in GIFs such as:
    0:36

^ Te Snippy Head Shake + Te Plateau Emphasis
Sidenote: He's also a twin shade of Dave Powers, who looks like an identical brother! Holy smokes, deja vu.

    Geoff Robinson

    Spoiler

    Margin of Error
    Most likely: FeNi Directive
    Less likely: NiFe
    Unlikely: Anything Else

Geoff here appears to be in the same genre as the above two samples, but his philosophy and story (and intention) clearly follows the Beta ethic. Firstly in his story, as told here at 4:35+

We see a lot of Fe shaming/punishment, we see a Mind-Over-Body philosophy of "trying hard" and overcoming odds. His journey is framed somewhat as a Hero Journey, and everything is "effortful".
In addition, he fits the same thematic shade as the Fe bodybuilders -- we can see his physique at:

This is not criteria for typing, but more supporting triangulation that naturally emerges from trends in the data.
His namesake ("iNcontrol") also reflects this Directive Fe behaviorism.

He's essentially another Jocko Willink, but in esports.

    Jordan Peele

    Spoiler

    Margin of Error
    Most likely: FeSi lll-
    Less likely: FeNi lll-, SeTi
    Unlikely: NeTi

Despite the surface-level Beta look, and what I thought may have been SeTi or FeNi at first... I believe Peele is actually Alpha. But in his case, I think we're working against a default black facial anatomy that suggests Se, but which has to be factored-out in the baseline reset. Here is a collage taken from the  first round of Google image results for him:

And here is what the baseline for Se user + African American looks like:

The difference may appear subtle at first, but usually black Se eyes are quite unambiguous. So when the eyes of a black celeb are on the fence, siding with Ne/Si is probably your best bet.
More clearly, we see images such as:

    Ne/Si Psychology

His Ne psychology also appears to be present in both his eclectic career pathway, his style of comedy (not comedy itself, but his style, which is very much based on imitations and parodies) and spontaneous ideas.

    Fe-lead

But he admits himself that comedy was a segway, whereas he always knew he wanted to be a film director -- which itself is a Conductor-dominated domain. He explains enjoying the subtle art of maneuvering people's emotions through timing and the ebb-and-flow of delivery (Fe transactions) but also basks in the control (Je) it gives him over the audience. I find it funny how he explains it so frankly.
However, his development appears to be P-heavy, which itself is reflective of all Je lll- types we've seen so far. Others like TeSi lll- Bill Maher (with his comedy focus) also appear a bit less political, or choose to blend art and politics together -- which is also the case for Peele, who makes political (racism-related) commentaries through the drama of his films.

    Margin of Error

Shade: Statham falls quite unambiguously into the same FeSi shade as Terry Crews, Michael Strahan and Dwayne Johnson. Incidentally, he plays side-by-side with Dwayne Johnson in the Fast & Furious franchise.
    Alpha signals:

We can see his double-extroverted energy in moments like:
    2:40

^ Je Gesticulation + Pe Bubbling Momentum
    1:25

    ^ J Rigid Body + Je Projecting Hands (+ J Angular Motions)
And in moments like the above we can clearly see his J-dominance, and how it structured his body at a core level.

    Review: Shia LaBeouf

"Admittedly, there’s room for FeSi in the margin of error. I’ll have to take a closer look to pin down his exact development, but I think he’s directive-Fe and that gives off a more “Je-esque” appearance. Tentatively: NeTi l-l- Directive."

    Mike Stoklasa

    Spoiler

    Margin of Error
    Most likely: SiTe / TeSi
    Less likely: TeNi
    Unlikely: Anything Else
    Left-side:

We can see right away that Mike is a Delta type:

And we can identify Conductor energy in GIFs such as:
    0:10

^ Pi Inertial... leading into Je/Conductor Head Push
Overall he has a settledness to his body, a potato-sack quality, and a forwardness in his attention -- whenever he's not making Ne parodies. So we know he's SiTe or TeSi, however he's definitely of an unusual development. He's definitely got Ne conscious, and so we see the effects of Si Silly Serious, where the adult-like conductor energy in high-Si attempts to act child-like, creating a sort of age-dysphoria. We can see this clearest in this video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EZd8GMgs_Vs - at around 0:21-0:48.
In videos like this he's very similar to SiTe l--l Bill Hicks:

But the polarized SiTe's are a bit of a gap in the database, so I don't feel fully confident asserting beyond that. SiTe appears to be slightly more likely than TeSi, but this is only my very tentative estimate..

    @auburn
A brief note on Shia's psychology. When you pointed out that he had Pe developed since childhood it reminded me of what I've learned of his past from the interviews I've seen of him. His father was a drug addict, and since drug addicts inevitably squander most or all of their resources on drugs, Shia was the member of the family who would be sent out by his father to acquire more resources (in reality this almost certainly meant he had to learn how to steal without being caught). This duty would have necessitated the conscious activation of the Explorer archetype, as returning empty-handed would have likely resulted in some form of abuse, while returning with "the goods" would have at the very least negated the worst forms of punishment, and kept his family afloat.

    Frederic Pignon

    Spoiler

    Margin of Error
Most likely: NeTi with conscious Si+Fe+Ti
Less likely: SiFe with conscious Ti+Ne, TiNe with conscious Ne+Si
    Unlikely: FeSi
We are looking at an Alpha amalgam! This man is surely at least 3-function conscious, with Ti+Ne+Si apparent in his vultology (and possibly also Fe). Since the last Alpha thread is up and coming, I don't have the proper reference frames atm to say definitively what type he is, but this is some of what we can see:

    1:00

^ Pe Body Swaying + Fe Warm Swelling/Nodding

    ^ Pe Loose Body Swaying + P Eye-Centricity
The video above suggests Ne-lead more strongly than any other Alpha type. And in this following video we see some Fe suggestions:

We can see that he does display Je+Pi signals, yet they don't appear to have the confidence, "form" and impact of a high-Je type. And yet they're inbetween... for example:
    1:10

^ Fe Warm Head Pushes (+ P loose body)
Here we see an assertive head nod... but then his body shrivels into reviser doubt (high Ji+Pe) right afterwards, as he grasps his right bicep and tilts his head to the side.
    0:56

^ Fe Warm Swelling + Je Demonstrative Hand (+ Fe Head Shake)
And we can see a level of conscious Fe here, and yet it appears to be somewhat unstructured. This is quite confusing. Adding to this possible Reviser hypothesis, we see...

..Where he displays a level of Ji meticulousness compatible with high-Ji or even Ji-lead:

^ Ji Meticulous Hands + Ti Delicate Pinching + Ji Exerted Push
    3:36

^ Ji Meticulous Hands (folded) + Ti Delicate Pinching
So we see clear Ne + Fe + Ti. Now what we also see is ample Si...

^ At the level of default facial anatomy/tension we see a lot of "high Si", as he also does have a level of inertia, and scowling/drifting to the sides. Still, since facial anatomy is not the determining factor of hierarchy, we rank this below the energetics.
Thus altogether, this would suggest that he's a Ti+Ne Alpha type who has conscious use of Fe and Si, not the other way around. I may be wrong about this, as I'm still trying to crack the llll types, but since we see the presence of Ti, Ne, Fe, Si ...the recourse we take for determining energetic quadrant is a keen examination of bodily tolls and frictions. For example:

    • 1. He displays Ji exerted push (the gif above)
    • 2. He displays reviser doubt

This would swerve the hypothesis towards NeTi llll Adaptive or TiNe llll Adaptive, but that is as far as I can go into it at the moment. I'd love to come back to this guy later and try to understand what's going on. @becks do you have any insights on him that you'd like to share? I don't understand French and the auto-translater isn't doing a good job. xD Thanks!
I hope this offers some sort of ballpark for his type.

@rondo - I had no idea about Shia's past! This could surely be correlated to our growing hypothesis on what causes function development, especially early in life.
Fortunately, he seems to have managed to remain healthy, unlike the other FeSi l-l- Directives like Alex Jones and Charles Manson. It seems he still cares for his parents and even supports them -- according to Wikipedia anyway.

    Spoiler

    Margin of Error
    Most likely: TeNi l--l Seelie
    Less likely: TeSi l--l Seelie
    Unlikely: (Other polarized Te/Fi)

Tig is a clear polarized J-lead, showing the most abundance of Je+Ji signals, with very few P signals. However, she quite clearly leads with Je as we can see in GIFs such as:
    0:48

^ Je Gesticulation + Je Head Nod + Conductor Energy
Here we see a very native-state Je gesture combination which you wouldn't find in even the most Je conscious Ji-leads. We can also see how Ji influences her vultology in GIFs like:
    1:15

^ Ji Meticulous Hands + Je Gesticulations
Here we see the GIF start out with Ji halting/clamping her hands, but then she resumes back into Je right after. The same can be seen in:
    1:53

    ^ Ji Meticulous Hands
Here we see how Ji is inserted in the midst of an otherwise uninterrupted Je gesture combination.
I don't know much about her as a person, except that she is a lesbian (fits into the Te/Fi-lead LGBT+ data cluster), a comedian and a cancer survivor. But what I can see is that she has the same sort of soft quality as other seelie Te-lead females such as Martha Becks.

Very clear sample of a reviser Alpha musician, in the same sort of category as Imogen Heap, Lights Bokan, Alanis Morrisette, etc. We can see her signals in:
    0:22

    ^ Pe Body Swaying + P Eye-Centricity + P Ongoing Movements
    1:26

^ Pe Body Swaying + P Ongoing Movements + Je Demonstrative Hand (P Subordinate Judgment)
She does have some Ti moments, however, such as:
    8:04

^ Ji Momentum Halting + Ji Eyes Disengage Down
But they clearly remain subordinate to a native Pe body rhythm, as we can see here by how her body remains in perpetual bubbling momentum/motion, and her hands lack complete J angularity when she goes into Ji. This is a solid example of auxiliary Ji in action.
Her development appears to me as NeTi ll-- Adaptive Female, but it's possible she also has Fe. Nevertheless, I think the margin of error for this sample is fairly minimal.

    ^ Ni Eye-Drifting Zone-Out
I will come back to this sample when I do the TeNi's which are up next, but right now I think we are seeing a TeNi with full P-axis development. Alternatively, he could be a polarized SeFi with conscious Te, but I see more evidence for him being a J-lead type.
In either case, gamma is quite certain. An additional note is that, like so many musicians he's P-heavy, as tends to be the case vultologically and psychologically.

    0:38

    ^ Pe Body Swaying + Ni Zone-Outs
    0:58

    ^ Pe Body Swaying + Ni Zone-Outs
^ In both of these GIFs above we see a combination of Pe body energy... which then gets converted into Ni zone-outs midway through the GIF. His body is overall very fluid, casual, inertial but also restless. This combination of inertial + restless is specifically seen in polarized P-leads.
    1:40

    ^ P Casual Hands
And we can see the subordinate use of Judgment in GIFs like the above, where we also see an unconscious, tertiary use of Fe. The hands lack angularity, bending at the wrists and flailing about... while still doing it in a rather inertial manner due to conscious Ni, and also Fe's warm swelling.
When he is older, I think his Fe comes into full consciousness.

Lzzy is a pretty solid SeFi sample, very similar shade-wise to Sia. I'll focus more time on her development, beginning with the basics:
    1:18

^ Pe Body Swaying > Je Gesticulations
    1:28

^ Pe Bubbling Momentum > Je Demonstrative Hands
    4:12

^ Pe Body Swaying / P Ongoing Movements + Je Pointed Emphasis (+ P Subordinate Judgment)
Her baseline appears to be one of Se+Te, So SeFi l-l- seems to be where she's coming from. However, at times she also displays signals of Ji such as in:
    0:28

^ Ji Meticulous Hands + Pi Searching Scowling
However these moments are much more rare and do not represent her baseline vultology. Instead it appears she is SeFi l-l- and is slowly moving into lll-.

Homme is quite clearly a gamma type.

I read that as "Homie is quite clearly a gamma type."
I had a hard time seeing TeNi > SeFi for him, except that his range of swaying was more limited. Would you mind explaining what you see?

@teatime - sure thing! I'll try to give my account, but I also quite understand I could be wrong here.

    Spoiler

    First some circumstantial data:
What seems evident to me is that he's conscious in the whole Se/Ni axis, which is not atypical in this celebrity bubble. This means that, if he were J-lead he'd necessarily be altered in his vultology. We wouldn't expect a standard dev TeNi to be in this scene, for instance. So in treating the question of SeFi vs TeNi, that may be a good baseline to set.
An SeFi in this scene would be quite heavily zoned-out and Se/Ni polarized, but with Homme we see some Je which requires explaining. If he's an SeFi with conscious Te+Ni in a rock/music scene, that seems bizarre. An inverted SeFi, having both their conductor functions conscious, seems less likely than a TeNi being P-heavy, if that makes sense? But this is just a circumstantial rationalization.
    Vultology:
So to present the case for the TeNi lll- vultology, which I'm still working to describe, I'll try to use the most adjacent type we have which is the FeNi lll-, using Zbigniew Preisner:

Zbigniew displays the core elements of conductor (Beta) energy without any of the most "explicit" Je-lead elements. I suppose I have to get more into conductor/reviser differences here. It's something like:
    Conductor Energy

    • Calm authority/confidence/closure (King/Senex energy)
    • Body-Pushes/Forwardness (unidirectional body energy)
    • Stiff neck (Sorry, I'm still in the process of taking this out of the 'qualia' realm)

    Reviser Energy

    • Uncertainty/Doubt/Openendedness (Child/Prince energy)
    • Wandering Body (multidirectional body energy)
    • Gentle neck (multidirectional head swiveling)

When we look at Zbigniew, we see that he has Pe signals and Je signals, but what differentiates him from SeTi is the difference between the above elements.

This GIF can be divided into 3 sections:

    • 1 - a Pe eye-toggle up
    • 2 - a Je Head Push
    • 3 - a Pe Body Sway + Pi searching scowling

What becomes important here is not the numerical superiority of two Pe signals over one, but the quality of Je present. Neither the eye-toggle nor the body sway penetrate into the torso area or make his body "wander" (i.e. Pe bubbling momentum). And when he does the Je Head Push, there is a "forwardness" and a finality to it that displays Authority and Confidence.
So despite the presence of Pe signals, there is little or no Reviser Doubt. This is very clearly a Je-lead displaying Pe signals, as he explores an idea in his mind before giving it to you in a packaged form (as a statement or conclusion).

edit: Actually... I'm gonna have to cut this post short (for now), as I don't have the proper background/setup for this differentiation to be coherent, and I need to do that first. I've been meaning to make a Conductor vs Reviser thread for a while now, so this might be a good occasion!
I hope I can make this difference more clear for myself and others in an upcoming thread (as I think it could help the model overall if it holds true)

    Awesome!
I've always related to Lzzy Hale, and people who heard my old voice (before the illness) told me I sing similarly to her and that my lyrics of my old songs reminded them of hers. 🙂 At least in style, even if the topics are different.  She also does a similar 'story telling' style in some of her videos.  My whole family listens to her too. Her brother is her drummer like me! So I was expecting her to be SeFi, and I'm not surprised in the slightest, but I needed to make sure :3
Jeff Martin is among my top favorite musical idols, up there with Trent Reznor. In both of their cases I had some things in common with their musical style but found others mysterious, fascinating and obsession worthy. And I admire them both not just for songwriting but production, which they're both genius at.  So it's interesting they're both SeTi I--I !!  It makes sense with me relating to the sentiment but feeling like they also have something I don't.  I had figured for a while that Martin was a Beta, but I wasn't sure which one - when I typed his 'psychology' before I got to CT, I thought TiSe  - but then visually, I was leaning NiFe - but it didn't feel right. SeTi seems better especially in light of the comparison to Trent.
Then, Josh Homme was @Ivory 's favorite, so I got him typed on Ivory's behalf 🙂 I'm looking forward to your later conclusions about him!! Thanks so much!

    Oh, but I stopped short of the actual explanation! I'll come back and edit this post in a bit. ^^;

    Frederic Pignon

do you have any insights on him that you’d like to share? I don’t understand French and the auto-translater isn’t doing a good job.

    @auburn
Sure, here is what I could find interesting about him:

    Spoiler

1:17 Where does this passion for horses come from?
It has been passed on to me by my father, who has always been passionate about horses. He passed it on to me and to my brothers and sisters.
1:45 Where does your passion for liberty training comes from?
I think it is because we were living very freely, without rules, with our horses. We were not necessarily using bridles or saddle or anything.
2:45 How to avoid stress during shows?
Managing stress is quite complex but very important especially when working with stallions, as it can trigger aggressiveness reactions from them. In order to manage the stress of your horse, you should first manage your own. I worked a lot with yoga and sophrology methods, and I developed a routine of making some exercises before a show to improve my focus before working with horses.

2:16 The idea that working with horses will be my job built up little by little. I have this need to be in nature with animals, that was very clear to me. But it's not that it just clicked into place one day, it's rather like it was burnt into me.
As I was a kid, I was very uncomfortable with people of my age, and I was very comfortable with animals. I had a kind of fascination for their world, which is a world of silence, with all these thoughts that do not come out through words, and that I wanted to decrypt. I had learnt at school that there was electrical connections in the brain, and then I often put my head very close to horses' heads, because I thought maybe I will understand what they think. I had this desire to understand. To understand, to live with them, to live their adventures. But it was more a way of escaping the human world, because it was difficult for me, I was uncomfortable with people. I'd say it's horses who made me sociable.
My parents always gave me a lot of freedom. I had a wonderful childhood with my little brother, and we were free to decide what we would want to do in our life. Then I felt I had to be reasonable – when you're young, you have to find a job and earn a living. But at the same time, this never bothered me too much, I had trust in life. I love arts, so I decided to go to the Beaux-Arts. It sounded more reasonable to continue with studying, instead of dropping everything, and going to work as a lad in a haras (horse farm). As I was in the Beaux-Arts, I took some distance with the horse world, and here I can say it actually clicked into place as I realized that I could not be far away from my horses, like just one week away was too long. That's where I understood: your passion is with horses, you like the rest, but your work will be with horses. Then I decided to become a stuntman, because I was passionate about Mario Luraschi's movies. (…)
4:20 What I liked about the idea of being a stuntman was not so much about challenging danger, it was rather about the relationship of trust with your horse. Then, after some time in this environment, I realized that I did not like some part of it, so I decided to move on.
9:15 The first time I saw Magali (his wife), she was on Perdigon, it was like a magical vision. (…) This horse Perdigon was a celebrity. The visual impact was huge, all this beauty. The rider, the horse, it was a whole, it was elegance. I stuck with me, when I see Magali riding, I see this picture of elegance. She is not just a rider, she is an artist. At that time, I did not even imagine approaching her, it was like a dream, it was unattainable. It happened later on, because we met in different circumstances. Meeting Magali has been a turning point in my life. And not only Magali, also her family. They were thinking like me. Until now, in the traditional horse environment where I'd been in, people were laughing at me. Like when my horse was following me, without me holding it with a rope, people were scared it would run away. I was very misunderstood. When I came into Magali's life, I also came into the life of people who put a high value in the relationship with the horse. I felt less lonely.
What surprises me about Magali is this strength and this fragility, this union of both (…) She has this ability to go to the point, when I tend to get lost into details.
11:10 Magali speaking: “What surprises me in Frederic is this sensitivity you can feel in his hands. When he touches a horse, the horse gets attracted like a magnet to his hand. You can see the change in attitude in horses when he approaches them – it is very unusual, if a horse is tensed, he just puts his hand on him, and the horse relaxes immediately, and trusts him. He is very slender, he's always following the movement of the horse, his way of moving with the horse is quite exceptional."
15:20 When Templado came into my life, he was 4-5 years old and I was 22. This horse accepted nothing. I thought he was just a little sensitive, and I would manage him somehow. Especially when you're 20 years old, you think you have seen it all. But each time I was trying something with this horse, it was a failure. He was like in a state of revolt, he was running away from us. This horse was like a bomb on the verge of exploding. At the beginning, I was thinking “I am the trainer, I will teach him”, but we understood rather quickly that we were heading for a dead end. It was him to teach us what he was expecting from us. And this was the beginning of a long observation of around 5 years. For 5 years, I had this horse which was useless to us. At that time, we were building our team to make horse shows and we did't have much money, but we just let him be there and didn't do much with him. Then we realized that as we were observing him and listening to him, he was ending up teaching us. This discovery, and the fact that he was actually the one instructing us, this put us in the process of discovering a horse. He was the first person who made us challenge our ways of thinking. And one day, he accepted to lay down in front of me, which is a huge sign of trust. And then we started going on shows with him.
38:20 Why I am primarily doing liberty training with stallions... First, stallions have a strong presence and a beautiful aesthetics for shows. A common stereotype is a stallion never getting out of his box stall because he's dangerous. Stallions have a hyper-sensitivity and a reactivity, which is very interesting. Mares often submit to other mares higher in the hierarchy. Stallions rarely let themselves into submission, they are often in conflict. The idea was to find a way to work while avoiding those conflicts. I have the impressions that I am learning more with stallions, even though it is a very bad choice when working on shows.
46:15 We want to join forces with Magali and do a show together. We are trying to create a universe, as an inspiration for the team of creators. I have a notebook, where I put my ideas, but I don't want to make too many drawings, because I don't want to give a too accurate picture. I just want to give a theme and some hints, so the people we work with can offer their own ideas. Now I'm waiting to be surprised by what the other creators will propose.
