    Hi there
So I've noticed something lately. I will tend to have a visualization or vision of a certain event, and then the following day I will see that event take place on television and/or in real life. I had a vision last night of a helicopter throwing down a rescue rope to me. Today I saw a helicopter with a rescue ladder and somebody hanging from it? What does this mean? Is it a concrete affirmation of something spiritual or intuitive? Or is it simply coincidence?

I don't know what's going on but my impression is there is a general shift in humanity's energy level and we all become more and more aware of the inner workings of the world around us.
This used to happen to me especially with dreams. I dreamed something simple and even trivial and the next day something very similar would happen.
I will give you some examples :
I dreamed my aunt's house or the house right next to it was crumbling down. After a couple of days grandma told me my aunt called some guys to do some repairing works to her house, as some pieces of the roof/walls had fallen off.
One night I dreamed I was staying in a hotel overnight and my boss was there (the company's owner !). And I did a general tidying up and then used the tidying up scenario to also go to his room, where I wanted to check something, but I don't remember what. In the meantime he was waiting on the corridor to see what I was doing and where I was going, disguised as part of the hotel staff. One of the following days the company's owner came to our department's office  and complained about some files that were laying on the floor. After he left our office, our department's boss freaked out and there was a massive tidying up, including cleaning the desks exactly like I saw in my dream. Needless to say, our company's owner only visits our department once or twice per year, so this was not a common event at all.
There were also waking visions I had that deeply, deeply puzzle me.
One was some months ago, so maybe not relevant, but it really touched me. I was in my bed, trying to sleep, when I suddenly felt as if there was a huge, huge explosion and I could clearly see the mushroom clouds above. I was SURE it will soon happen and I felt terrified. I tried to calm myself down, telling myself it will not be here, in Bucharest, it will be somewhere else. But...it was not simply visualizing an explosion, I almost had a panic attack.
When I saw the Beirut explosion, I thought about this a lot. See, my vision was not at the same time, nor a day or a couple of days before. It might have been in February or March, maybe. Maybe there is no connection but I am also open to the possibility there was one. I could have felt something like this will happen soon (in a couple of months) and in another place (in Beirut), but I have no evidence to support this, as I could not determine the place or the timing of the explosion.
I usually have a certain fear reaction before earthquakes too, even if they are minor ones. So, before going to bed, I feel afraid there will be an earthquake. But...it is TRUE fear, not just a mild concern. And then while sleeping, I start to feel the minor moves of the bed that accompany a small earthquake. Then the next day I check and indeed, there was an earthquake.
But I think feeling earthquakes will soon happen is a different ability than dreaming of something which will happen the other day or having a vision of a world event which will happen some months later. Because many people think animals can feel earthquakes too. They become restless before them. I can say I don't only become restless, I specifically think of an earthquake. And I believe I am more perceptive to them than my cat. Maybe Rupert Sheldrake has an opinion on this, I will check.
Another similar incident was - I was walking on the street and the wind was blowing badly, rain was coming...and I thought something will soon fall on my head and kill me. I felt it would happen because of the wind, the wind will blow this object down from a balcony. This did not scare me though. I just felt a general solemnity, as this life was approaching its end. But I also had the vague impression there are many lives to follow and many that have passed and even parallel ones, all happening at the same time. So, it was nothing final, just a big event on this particular timeline. I went to order a salad and some fries and then decided to go to the park to sit on a bench until my salad was ready...every step carrying a certain grace, as I was approaching Death.:)  On the way to the park, a flower pot was blown down by the wind from a balcony and fell on the street, super close to me, but without touching me !
This event made me ponder a lot about parallel dimensions and dimension jumps, a topic I didn't yet manage to clarify or completely integrate in my world view, but that I want to analyze more.
By the way, did you try Randonautica? Definitely try it ! It's an app that uses google maps to bring us to places that thematically correspond to our questions/intentions. You will see, it's awesome.

    Dear Bera
Woah your experiences described are so much more uncanny than mine. I think you are experiencing a sort of synchronicity between the concrete and the non-concrete realm and it may act as a sort of warning, possibly from introverted intuition. I only tend to see certain discrete objects, images or symbols manifest themselves in concrete reality the next day, its like a deja vu experience.
I have had nightmares about a world war taking place and that I was on a ship with a Japanese woman but this did not manifest in reality thankfully. As a 16 year old I was heavily affected by this Russian movie I saw about witchcraft. It was so scary that I ended up having an intense nightmare of these hooded figures who told me I was a wizard, but ended up in a black pit surrounded by these faceless beings. I cried for half an hour.
So I guess in this instance the concrete realm affected me intuitively perhaps.
I haven't tried that app I will check it out sounds interesting.

Hi, I'm new and don't know my type yet, but I feel a need to comment.
I think this is probably SeFi's supernatural ability. I also have a friend which I suspect is SeFi or Se conscious and always notices something like this and be very particular about it.
I also sometimes theorize about a thing and some years later it reappears, although I don't take them seriously. More often I would experience deja vu but I thought it was something caused by my own habits. Or I would notice clocks with twin digits and my mind would wander to conspiracies. Although none like what you guys are describing.
About dimension jumps, you should watch The OA! It's one of my favorite shows. Too bad it's cancelled.

    To someone
Wow that's pretty cool, you sound like you may have Ni in your cognitive stack, as it aligns with the behaviour of Ni. I also sometimes think if I see more than a few numbers it may mean something, but I don't take it that seriously, its just interesting to me I guess. Yeah Se is much cooler than I give it credit for, how we can notice these sorts of things and how it ties into our Ni.

I had been soft-read as TiSe in the past. I wouldn't be surprised if that's my official type now. Although I was very surprised when I first got it, cause I had literally considered every other introverted type but ISTP somehow escaped me! I even considered ESTP before that. But that's back when I was still tied to MBTI and such. ?
I also can relate to Fi to some extent so I still give rooms for other types. I think I can relate to all functions bits here and there

Wow I see that is interesting. it is possible that you could be Adaptive TiSe, which may explain why you perhaps relate to Fi, that is if your actually a TiSe. But I think the best thing to do is to take an official typing, it makes a world of difference. I was first typed as NiTe but I disagreed because I felt like I was an NeFi as I'd always typed as ENFP in most mbti tests. So we did the test again where someone else interviewed me, and then my Pe bubbly nature and momentum was more apparent, as well as my tertiary Te which I never even knew I had developed. Turns out in the first assessment I stared too intently at the camera.

I also never thought I was an Se user, but then it clicked when I read the description about Se behaviourism.

Yes! Right now I'm in the process of getting typed.
I do relate with Se behaviorism especially on persistence effect, ergonomics, and addiction, but somehow also relate to the aspects of Ne like daydreaming, lack of attention, and especially escapism...? And I consider the biggest most dominant emotion in my life to be nostalgia other than nothingness, but that has started to be discussed in other threads... And I do believe we are prone to some self-biases since I agree it's pretty hard to see our own selves objectively. But I am able to discern some differences between people, I just need to see where I would fit if I were judging myself from the outside. Not that it's important, it's just fascinating to me.

I know right the differences between people, especially people who are of the same cognitive type is fascinating, because we are all unique and have our own idiosyncrasies. I also relate to Ne's escapism, daydreaming and being scatterbrained. But I realised I'm not prone to topic hop quite as much as an Ne user might, so that made sense to me once I was officially typed. I'm also pretty easily overstimulated by my environment and get easily irritated by loud noises, itchy or scratchy clothes or people who can't stop talking about something I've moved on from a long time ago.
