    Hello guys!
Below is a first draft of the behavioral profile of the Pe l-l- type. This profile is meant to apply to the NeFi l-l-, SeFi l-l-, NeTi l-l- and SeTi l-l-. Other development levels will have different writeups, as each function changes the inner experience. The final profile results will also weave in specific functions, according to what the type is, but for now this is just written from the point of view of the energetics. I'd really love to get feedback from our Pe l-l- members ( @elsie , @animal , @candydealer , @mysticthriver , @midge , and others). Please let me know what you think, and which parts sound correct and which ones don't, thanks!

    Pe I-I-

As a Pe l-l- you are an Explorer with an Articulation development, meaning there are two complementary aspects that most define your psyche: one of a passionate creative, and the other of a fervent achiever. Neither of these aspects can be omitted from your psyche without strong detriment to your vitality, purpose and sense of thriving. You are both insatiably curious and also very ambitious, craving personal expansion through your firsthand exposure of new experiences and interests. While others tend to hold themselves back from the world, you rarely flinch from it and instead have a talent for grasping opportunities right as they manifest themselves. You are a go-getter, a productive powerhouse and it’s imperative to you that your life has both a fresh creative flow as well as achievement of goals along the way.
As a creative, you’re known for experimenting in various artistic areas and have a reputation as a connoisseur. However, although you dabble in many fields, you’re far from frivolous in your pursuits. You may have a wide assortment of interests that you weave in and out of, but you’re also capable of sticking to one thing long enough to see it followed through to the end. At each moment you know just what you want, and you go after it headlong. You have a high-functioning, executive mind and can manage people and situations well when called upon. Yet your consciousness is always geared towards dynamic, creative expression first and foremost, and your qualities as a “doer” are gratifying only insofar as they can help you embody an artistic expression through, and within, your life as a totality. There’s a desire in you not only to explore but to also make an impact, to create a measurable stir with your artforms and change the world in some meaningful way.
However, having this twofold energetic drive also comes with many drawbacks and blindsides. You’re often in too much of a mental or physical hurry to slow down and are prone to becoming impatient when life or other people are not moving fast enough. If not careful, you can quickly slip into mania, where you don’t know how to stop yourself and need to keep moving and producing at all costs. You may develop a reputation for being overwhelming or hard to keep up with. Your mind is “a lot” to handle, and it’s challenging to moderate your frantic stream of ideas in all situations. Since your mind is very decompressed it often comes out filter-less, as a direct mental relay. This can make you extremely honest, and perhaps too honest, with your inner world and experiences. Your speech can come out haphazardly when you bounce around thoughts faster than you can revise them. Yet as a whole you make up for these difficulties with your proliferation and rapid prototyping. Whenever something doesn’t come out perfectly, you simply try again and try better, thus every attempt still serves your higher purpose of attaining a truer form of self-expression.

I don't have anything to add or subtract.

Since your mind is very decompressed it often comes out filter-less, as a direct mental relay. This can make you extremely honest, and perhaps too honest, with your inner world and experiences.

My parents have continuously retold a story among family and friends about me as a child related to this. My Dad his boss over for lunch one day -- I was about 5. She asked me what I was going to do that day, and I replied "I don't know, go to my friends house, ride my bike, draw, play video games, etc etc." She replied, "Honey, you're going to have to make up your mind!" and I stared at her deadpan and said "That is my mind."
So there ya go. I've definitely always had that "direct mental relay" thing goin'.
I'm curious what you mean by "decompressed" here, also. 🙂

Man, I really wish I could evaluate my adult self more objectively. I have to go back to before I got sick, or the brief periods in my 20s when I was healthy enough to function like my native self. But this is my sense of how it applies to me personally.
Ok.. so, first two paragraphs, YES. EXACTLY!  I personally don't care for 'new for newness sake' or 'fun for fun's sake.'  Note that I'm not suggesting you take 'new experiences' out of the description. I'm just explaining how it is for me personally.
From as far back as I can remember (and my earliest friends back to kindergarten remember this too), my main interest was the stories in my head, which created a parallel universe to the one I'm living in now.  I named it (the dichotomy of) Erosia and Dystopia in my 20s, but it was always there even before it had a name. I had characters, planets, religions, my own personal symbolism etc. Even wheN I was a child and couldn't write in a diary, I had this story going on in my mind, always growing with the same handful of evolving characters, and I would play it out with friends whenever they were willing. I was not "directing" them - I just told them the basic premise. They could be whoever they want and the setting and plot would evolve with them. Around 5th grade my friends just got too old to do this and I didn't have much interest in sitting around talking about tv that I don't watch, sports I don't care about, or gossip. (I'm much more into evaluating the social scene when I get invested in a community that has a CAUSE, such as enneagram community, CT, band life, etc). I was not interested in what random people were doing around school or at my temporary jobs. Basically the story in my mind took up much more space for me than the outer world. I did well at school and work because I did what I'm supposed to and then left without making trouble. (Aside from being on the receiving end of bullying situations, which I did not have any skills to fend off or handle well.)
That said, my energy to DO SOMETHING WITH these visions is an important feature of my personality. Once my friends stopped playing pretend, I started writing books and even a musical. Before that I wrote these things in my diary. I always NEEDED to MAKE something out of it, not just tell myself pastime stories. So in this sense, I am "in the world" and "productive." Another thing to consider is that I was not just a relentless creative who splatted my incessant ideas. Rather, I sat down and practiced skills for countless hours per day.  I was very REALISTIC and PRAGMATIC about allocating my mental resources toward the GOAL of getting these ideas out, and I had no need to do 'everything' or spread myself thin. Not even the interest in it. When I got sick at age 16, I had already done a lot to fulfill my visions.  Just as you have written here.
My interest just doesn't happen to be... Earth. @Ivory shares this with me, to some extent. We are more interested in mastering or even revolutionizing an abstract system like enneagram, functions, etc; provided it's directly related to real people and real psychology. But specific events on Earth, traveling etc; is not our interest. We basically want to obsess over the experiences inside. But I am much more resourceful and energetic when it comes to DOING something about it, sitting down and delineating that system, recording that album. Needless to say, the energy and time that I spend figuring out HOW to record a song or a video, and the time I spend making money only to spend it on equipment and studio time, is an investment in itself. Since Ivory doesn't invest as much in this, he is much faster with systems,  words, language, and other manner of thought. Whereas I have a bigger repertoire of finished or in-progress materials in which my inner visions manifest. Any time I'm not sick this repertoire grows exponentially. If I never have another creative thought in my life and never get sick again, and just spend the rest of my time actualizing the visions I had before, I still wont' have enough time in my lifetime to address them all.  And I don't have a million "unfinished ends..." or "new ideas..." actually, all my ideas including music, videos, writing etc - all tie into the same planets and small set of characters that I've been building since I was a child.
So, I don't hold myself back from USING the world for its resources and the 'stage' it provides, on which I actualize my own visions. I do have compassion etc, so I'm not saying that I see the world as "my stage" and I don't see others. But just that my personal purpose is to actualize my inner visions, and in doing so, I am, and always have been, extremely resourceful. When a project needs to get done I find the way to do it despite financial problems, last minute cancellations and any other imperfection. The only thing that actually holds me back is illness. In that sense I'm more of a go-getter than a perfectionist, I just don't care to 'get' the things that others offer such as wall street jobs, constant vacations or going to concerts. For me, actualizing visions is paramount, and fun happens along the way.
The last paragraph: guilty as charged. I am still like that. I spend so much time Fi-ing at home, hunched over a piano or a computer trying to edit  my projects to perfection. Then when I step away from the computer I have no patience or refinement left to speak of. My Fi goes on vacation.

So my critique is basically: I LOVE IT!
I figured I'd show how this description plays out for me as a kind of 'odd' person whose creativity is based on manifesting a highly internal experience. That said, I have nothing to criticize. I think it's a perfect description, very thoughtful, realistic and on point - the fact that it applies to someone like me with such a specifically 'interiorized psyche' really speaks volumes about its accuracy. I'm going to watch this thread and see how others respond too!   I notice throughout my life that it's very very rare that anyone has such an extreme specific hyper-interiorized world running parallel to their whole life in such a consistent fashion, serving as their main sense of purpose and interest, let alone playing out through double extroverted functions .... which is why I think my specific psyche can be a good litmus test for a description. This one blew me away with its accuracy.

It's spot on ♥️ I find it a funny thing to experience, when I get into a groove... It doesn't always matter what it is, I just barrel through it gleefully.... Poetry mode, cleaning, space wandering, painting, clover hunting, cooking, crafting, sewing... But it seems like when I'm super low, I can't stay in one for.long and my lack of doing'ness, makes or productiveness, me sad....

...want your typos pointed out? I can do dis...?

I also want to offer a behind the scenes breakdown of each of these profiles, and how the energetics are interwoven together, roughly...

    • Red = Ji
    • Blue = Pe
    • Green = Je
    • Gold = Pi

This is a rough approximation, as I attempted to weave in the energetic components seamlessly, and in the specific manner that is unique to this hierarchy, but I hope it offers some insight regarding the nature of the profile. Thanks!

Alright. So even though im Pe III- i related to rhis very slightly compared to the PeII— description. This is definitely me in so called manic mode. Is it possible to have Je and Ji each on and off at different times. I seem to go back and forth between them as if my energy can only be channeled into one or the other. I also am diagnosed with a mood disorder so i am wondering if that plays an effect. But yes. I love these profiles. Very accurate.
