Mental image of black paint

While listening to a song called Tenet by Heilung (music that is almost pagan sounding) I see black paint drip onto my skin and I paint my face black. I also dye my hair black. I see black serpents, but only because there are serpents on the album art, but it is also black yet glittery. I also see a glass vase being smashed, windows breaking and the room shaking. Could it be related to the climactic build up of the music perhaps?

I also see I am holding a long strand of black hair in my hands, it is like I can use it as a blindfold. I then saw very long black hair hanging down from a tower, and there is a lady in the tower, almost like a raven haired Rapunzel.

I have always had a strong attraction to hair, whether long or short, so I could see the connection to that.

Ooh that's a juicy vision 🖤 The color black in this context likely refers to the Shadow. The serpents especially refer to the wisdom hidden in your Shadow and the unconscious in general.

The breaking glass seems like a symbol of awakening. Windows especially symbolize the viewpoint of our conscious awareness, so their shattering implies a release of limitation. It seems violent/sharp, but this is the quality of the Mars force, which is both Reason and Destruction (The Emperor and Tower cards in Tarot, respectively).

Hair is an archetypal symbol of the mind, especially intellect. That it is black and long in your vision could represent the extension of your knowledge and personal traits with the addition of what content lays in Shadow for you.

Raven Rapunzel is your Anima, classically waiting up in the tower (Mars/Enlightenment reference again) for you to rescue her. As in the tale, her hair represents the dichotomy of wisdom and folly. In order to safely reach her and bring her back down to earth with you, you must use your wits and intelligence, as well as your strength and concentration to scale the tower.
