    Hey!
I've noticed that FiNe's sometimes have this polar Te underbelly where they get quite particular or "ocd" about a few niche things (Fi is specific in its aesthetic). Often times FiNe's will be rather impractical overall in their life, but will be stickers on one or two habits of organization or concepts.
So.. what pokes at your Te?
What organizational quirks do you have?
What really gets your panties in a wad? ;D

Not sure if these things are Te:

    • Everything in my room and home and office has a place. If you move it, put it back. If you empty it, replace it.
    • My wardrobe is arranged a certain way. Different coloured hangers for different clothing categories, workwear on one side and casual on the other, used to be also be colour-grouped within category but I've relaxed this now.
    • My shopping is arranged on the checkout belt by category and order of the kitchen cupboards so they get bagged "right".
    • When I travelled I used to have my itinerary meticulously planned. Like, I have already scoped out restaurants surrounding my hotel, chosen the best one, downloaded their menu and picked what I'm likely to have for lunch 6 weeks from now. Each day's activities and movements are scheduled, optimised down to the minute as cross-referenced with public transport timetables, opening hours etc. This might just be my anxiety. I've practised relaxing control.

I'm sure there's more, these are just quick ones I can think of now.

Yes, Te things! ...and J things, more broadly.
I really agree with socionics in that the FiNe is a "J" type, and is fundamentally rigid first, and flexible second. Portrayals of FiNe as INFPs are a bit too "loose" and fluid for how they actually are mentally. Which I think is why we see NeFi's as the ones than most often type as INFPs, and actual FiNe's appear to be typing more as INTJs or INFJs. Isn't that funny? It's a game of musical chairs.
I wanna know how widespread this really is though. @rioshayne @nemo, @elisaday - do you guys have ocd tendencies?

That's an interesting system, but what do you do with the eggs?

what do you do with the eggs?

They're their own special category at the very end of the checkout belt so they don't get squashed or mixed into whatever personal bagging system the checkout person is using. This happened yesterday. I had my order and system all laid out and she was skipping over products and whole sections to bag them her own way.

I'm sorry, I didn't see this thread until just now! Yes, I am the same way as @ladynerdsky with my closet, dishes, towels, grocery checkout, including the eggs! Too funny. I'm very particular about many things, how they should be organized for the most efficiency, order, logical sense. If a checker isn't bagging my items in a logical manner I just take over, lol.
Other things that bother me that may or may not be Te related: I hate it when people don't clean up after themselves. I always try to leave something better than how I found it, if possible. I mentioned this in one of my videos. For example, when I'm at the gym and people leave a sweaty mess instead of wiping down the equipment they just used, or people littering, people throwing away plastic bottles instead of recycling them, not taking responsibility for your actions, not taking action and expect others to do it for you. I'm also very particular about making plans (which is probably why I consistently test as INTJ haha), mostly because I like being prepared and following some sense of a schedule, and because my family and in laws aren't the greatest at it. I've seen the mess it can bring when you don't plan ahead, especially in regards to camping/travelling, which my partner and his friends enjoy. Several times they would go camping spur of the moment, without checking to see if the campground was full, then to discover upon arriving, that it was full. So they spent 3-4 hours of wasted time driving. Needless to say I didn't agree to go with them unless they had actual plans for this very reason. They are better now, this example is from several years ago and have since matured a bit.
Whenever I've been in charge of something, like a supervisor at a job or even in a gaming atmosphere, I can come across as rather blunt, harsh and "bossy." I'm not sure if the response to my leading methods would be the same if I were a man, but if I have a job to do I'm not going to kiss your ass while doing it, or hold your hand. I've never been very good at emotional pandering or emotional labor, that doesn't mean I'm rude. I always try to be polite, but I can't spend all of my energy walking on eggshells either. I've accepted that not everyone gets along and certainly don't expect everyone to like me, but it's still stressful when social interactions escalate due to misunderstandings, miscommunications, or ego/pride. I value clear and articulate communication. Unfortunately even with the best effort put into communicating, there's a chance at something being misunderstood. I used to be more direct and blunt when I was younger, and I've found that it works in some instances but not in all. I've learned to be more diplomatic and value politeness when necessary. Studying personalities has helped me significantly in this regard.
I may add to this later.
