Archetypes and cognitive typology in fiction.

I know that typing fictional characters using the CT system can be really difficult as they are obviously not real humans and elements such as vultology cannot be applied in the same way as body and facial language will vary in how the author represents their character, but it would be interesting to discuss how archetypes and cognitive functions manifest themselves in character writing in a work of fiction and present culture.
