Hi!
I am trying to start a process of (comprehensive) learning and I thought of creating a topic as a good start. For now I want to use baby steps approach and only share interesting article I found.
Embodied Cognition is Not What you Think it is.

I will write some notes and comments to it in the near future. But I am courious about your thoughts about "embodied cognition" topic. Maybe some of you worked it out it already and have some useful notes.
I remember that I watched two or maybe three TED Talks presentations when this concept struck me. I don't remember titles and particular topics of them but there were ideas like:
- life comes from characteristics of moving particles (https://www.ted.com/talks/martin_hanczyc_the_line_between_life_and_not_life/transcript#t-778794)
- Some forms of consciousness arise from nervous system and it is related to ability of organism to move the body (plants don't have nervous system and we know organism in ocean which have nervous system in periods when moves and which lose nervous system in periods when it don't moves.)
- There was experiment when camera was connected to brain but there was no conscious picture before the person could hold and move the camera (this discovery was an accident).
Whole thing is very exciting to me. 🙂
