Not necessarily responding to saf here, but just generally want to share a bit more.

This is a good video that outlines the ergonomics -- a platform called Spatial.io:
The capacity to have infinite work space hovering around you, to shrink/expand screens, pinch-move them, bring in notes from everyone else. The capacity to bring in models/objects, diagrams, etc. What you can do here is radically different from what's done with screens.
It's really heading in the direction of virtual 'presence'. So you'll be able to have virtual meetings with others that are far more compelling and meaningful than zoom meetings. You'll collaborate with coworkers in a third dimension and this is all already here. It's simply a matter of reducing the latency, increasing the bandwidth, increasing resolution, etc-- which happens with next gens. But it seems inevitable to me that AR meetings will be the zoom meetings of the 2030's, at the latest.
