I have noticed there is quite some discrepancy between what is defined as social extroversion/introversion and cognitive extroversion/introversion. I personally feel like I don't talk much and am not as engaged at work, but I might be extremely talkative around family members and close friends. My brother thinks I'm an introvert because I'm shy around strangers, but this is just one side of me and really most people are not just one thing.
Its really all about the situation your in and how comfortable you feel. But cognitively I might be extroverting in that I am engaging with the external world through Se (listening to music, drawing, enjoying nature) and my Te (perhaps trying to solve a math problem, making a budget). I am not as interested in Te stuff to be honest, but I understand its about doing what is necessary, not just easy.
