Finally the question is: should we consider Ni as an ongoing perception function or a formulaic one? In the former case, Ni cannot have a vision,  thus a somewhat fixed symbol, because is always changing ; in the latter case, Ni should be considered both perceptive and formulaic, thus a symbol can be extracted.
