@bera I immediately burst out laughing when I saw your edit... but I am rooting for the bills being paid on time ?
1) 2019 was more abysmal than celestial for me. Echoing what Bera said above, the CT community as a whole, and several people in particular, played a very large role in the happiness I was able to find this year, and I become overfilled with emotion when I think of the generosity and kindness that was shown to me, but I’ll leave off for now.
2) Here’s a poem instead (formatting not ideal but w/e):
Hold me the way the Sun holds Earth / Without touch, wet satellite charred by wants.
Love me the way a corporation loves / Goons sans substance, paid exclusively in “trust”.
Hurt me the way the psyche hurts the soul: / Ignorant partner in a bed of thorns.
End me the way Buddha ends death: / Drawn and severed from selfless breaths.
3) I think it likely that the Year of the Rat will be better for me than the Year of the Pig ?
