I also don't know if it's a real thing or not since the mere description of fate is very vague and open to interpretation.
But I definitely like Jung's definition especially since the archetypes and the collective unconsciousness complement it very well. Regarding his mysticism, he seemed to mix it at times with science and religion all into one. Especially when he talked about the union of the ego with the unconscious.
You're not alone with struggling with the inferior function, I especially start to hate anything related to Si after I realize that's the cause of my stress aka being on the grip. Since I don't have Si developed I can't really say anything, but my guess is that even when it's conscious there is still a certain small part of the mind that rejects, or distances (?) from it, even though one has learned to be agreeable/welcoming regarding the inferior function. Kinda like that person that you don't really like that much but you still hang out and have them around because over time you've learned to accept they might bring something valuable to the table. Does that make sense? lol.
