@auburn
I had a PM discussion with a friend last night who identifies as TiNe (though she hasnt been confirmed). I just wanted to share how I framed it:
the TiNe who wrote CT, calls it like.. alpha ghost tendency
like obscuring the visceral desires
but he is very emotional too
[re: TiNe]
yea because the opposite and inverse is SeFi whose desires and feels are most embodied, visceral and immediate
but
no type makes someone more emotional per se; its just how it's directed
so my theory is TiNe can be really deeply deeply emotional
but its less at the surface
Not excellent wording on my part, but it was a PM discussion 😛
The main point I was telling her, which I strongly believe, is that any type can have just as many emotions as another type. But the way they frame or embody it may be different. There's a different rhythm to its expression. I don't think Alpha Ghosting tendency is per se, incorrect; but more that they express their emotions more ephemerally and may resist being pinned down to one identity; or fully embodying the emotions in a visceral public way. But their emotions can still run incredibly deep. I think your explanation above is excellent and it shows how this feels from your own perspective 🙂
From my perspective, i do not perceive you guys being less emotional than anyone else. On the contrary, Alpha NTs often strike me as having a lot of emotions swimming beneath.
