I feel I could contribute something poignant here. First I'd like to quote Animal:

The world I see myself as a balance against is overly sensationalized, lacking concision and consideration for nuance, too willing to allow emotion to run roughshod and lead us towards suffering in ignorance.
These worlds we are describing are not data driven models originating from a tabula rasa; the world that we perceive ourselves as a counterbalance to is that of our shadow. I think it would be difficult to understate the difficulties that will arise naturally from interactions between individuals with zero cognitive functions in common. Here I think there is an important distinction between process and purpose; both types will have processes whose methods are totally divorced from that of the other, but with exactly the same purpose behind them [Se-Ne = Pe / Ti-Fi = Ji, etc.].
Furthermore, some of Animal's rather striking observations about Se fall into what I would term "animism" in the technical sense of the word, and would provide the natural counterpart to Ni's "shamanism". [Also her name is Animal, I mean c'mon...]
Pe is the spirit animal, Pi is the shaman. Alphas and Gammas see the world through the prism of the shadow, therefore they see the other, likewise for Betas and Deltas. This is what gives me such hope for effective communication between vastly different individuals. Beneath the externalities there is a common, human purpose.
