I am aware that Auburn has made a post explaining how cognitive extroversion is not the same as social extroversion. I think I an example of that, being a walking contradiction as I have two extroverted functions developed (Se/Pe and Te/Je) but I am definitely shy and don't really assert myself or ask for things I want, whereas my brother and father are able to chat to strangers without any hesitation. I will only really talk to people I know, and even when someone unfamiliar speaks to me, I tend to be more of a quiet listener, only occasionally interjecting something funny or a short phrase here and there (depending on the situation of course, I can be quite talkative when I'm in the right mood with the right people). It feels like there is a stopper in front of my mouth, preventing me from flowing in my articulation.
It is interesting that I was initially mistyped as an Ni I--- type, but I know this is because I stared directly at the camera and wasn't as expressive as I am with friends or family members.
