    Hi guys!
I have a big update to post regarding the App, as it is now nearly complete (despite missing some GIFs which will be added as time goes by, but the code is functional as of today). It's such a beast, that I don't even know where to begin but I'll see if I can condensed the main features it has. It might just be easier to try it out instead of reading this. Feel free to give it a go.

    Overview

    What is it?

It's a web-based JavaScript/PHP application designed around the vultology code (version 1.6 at present, but capable of upgrading alongside the codex).

    Why make it?

Oh gosh, several reasons. But it was developed primarily for reducing the reading time from hours to minutes. Theoretically, it should also greatly increase accuracy/consistency and standardization.
However, one of the most important reasons for making this is scaling up the CT model. This app is designed to (ideally) be a one-stop resource for everything you should ever need to do a typing; including exporting a PDF with the answer you got. This can greatly reduce the learning curve for typing.
This was designed with a clinical/social-worker/etc audience in mind as well, to make it possible to print out or email reports. It's equally useful for doing video submissions and I'll be using it going forward starting Nov 1st.

    Basic list of features:

    • Youtube + MP4 Video importing/embedding.
    • 110 Signals as checkboxes with real-time type estimation.
    • Type estimate visualization with percentages and bar graphs.
    • Database samples integration + side-by-side comparisons.
    • Signal GIFs on mouse hover, over each signal.
    • An additional (up to 4) GIFs show up on clicking the "+" icon by the signal.
    • Support for 1024 resolution typings (type, dev levels, f attitude, gender, flat affect).
    • Export as WYSIWYG Text (which can be copy-pasted on this forum with preserved styling).
    • Export as PDF (only available for logged-in users).
    • Automatic author verification (and security).
    • Automatic vultologist verification.

This app is a response to much feedback on how challenging and cumbersome it is to do readings, and how much time it takes, as well as how ambiguous some of the criteria of measure can be. This attempts to resolve all of those problems by providing the criteria of measure directly as a hover event.
You can compare each GIF against the celebrity in question before clicking on them, ensuring the right things are being measured.

    Short Term Goal

If you guys think this is helpful, and if I manage to fill up all the GIFs, then for the next Quiz I would like to experiment using this App to see if it works at a larger scale. The goal of this quiz will be different. It will be 3 samples instead of 5, and all results will be submitted using the App. The goal would then be to not only get the right answer, but to get it for the right reasons.
In other words, the aim will be to get a congruence of signals; seeing the same signals. We can then properly discuss why we did or didn't see [ x ]. From this, a vultology team will be formed after we pass into 95% consensus.
Let me know what you guys think of this tool and if you have any questions!
Please don't be shy about giving feedback on the features, or any bugs you find - I'd greatly appreciate it.
    Cheers, 🙂

@Auburn It was ghostly when you were adding it as I was coding one of my friends.

Here's my little test of the new app. It's so cool to use the built-in side-by-side views.

    @blankboy I got Si-Fe II--
He has dark eyes but they aren't Ni eyes IMO and he doesn't have that tension from the sides, the tension is towards the center as in Si. I could be biased though because I'm Ni-Fe and I heard there's a mirror effect.

I took a swing at David Gilmour of Pink Floyd. Just his age and the uniqueness of his face structure makes him tough. He's very introverted.
I think he's Fi-Se but might be double introverted. There is that Se movement but I think more Ni is there than Se, so it gives this balanced weird grounded but still slightly swaying quality. He also has Se and Ni qualities in his eyes they lock on but also drift away and they look hypnotic but also somewhat intense.

Hi! I've never typed anyone before, and I'm pretty shaky on the signals, but I thought I'd be fun to give you some data from a complete novice!
I chose to do Adrienne Lenker of the band Big Thief. Here's the video I watched:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7JimMROaBxQ
My results are as such -
    Probably FiSe |-|-
    Maybe TiSe |-|-
    Less likely FiNe |---
Crap! I couldn't get the copy/paste to work! I'm on a chromebook, if that's data you need. Oh well, I'll manually input the results below!
    J - 5
All J signals seen, some only fleetingly, like in the case of angular motion. She does very little hand signaling, but the ones she does are not examples of casual hands. They are all representing something. Very rigid posture.
    Ji - 5
All Ji signals seen, some fleetingly, as in the case of exerted push and momentum halting. She has very little momentum to halt. Almost always disengages eyes when speaking.
    Pi - 3/5
Inertial energy, Diagonal Eye-Drifts, worldview rambling.
    Fi - 7/10
Resting tension, snarling smile (only saw the snarl once, all other smiles did not snarl), asymmetrical mouth (again, only seen for a second), sprite-like voice (speaks in almost a whisper), excessive contempt (only a few times), wobbling lips, fi breaking through cheeks. At one point mentions the Fi phenomena of permeability and attributes this to artists in general.
    Ti - 4/10
stop-start articulation, puppeteer hands (I may not know the difference between Ti hands and just Ji hands), technical glitching (may have been Ji exerted push coming through in speech), placid smile (may have just been polite shyness).
    Ni - 4/10
Abstract rambling, cryptic speech, grounded inertia, esoteric Se channeling (not sure what this is, but a portion of her speech at one point is very abstract/spiritual in context, but very vivid in Se imagery and sense-heavy description.) Literally mentions the concept of synchronicity and seems to believe in it's existence.
    Se - 3/10
Locked-on eyes, high sensitivity (mentions being highly sensitive multiple times), pointed eye toggles (lots of these, some may be Ji disengaging eyes though.
Overall, I gave my assessment of FiSe |-|- because she seems very high in Ji, probably Fi, and seems to have Ni conscious. She does not seem to be an Ni native though, and most likely leads with Fi. I hope I'm not just typing her as FiSe because it's my type! It makes sense she would be though, because I really relate to her music, and I've been finding that a lot of celebrity FiSes are musicians I love.
I'd highly appreciate somebody checking my work!

    @alice
^^ Interesting. I'd typed her based on the same video some weeks ago and came up with SeFi II-I (Seelie) w/ Flat Affect. However you could definitely be correct that she is FiSe (watching another video of her https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Syxbc22Xzoo to get a better look, it seems she does have a baseline restless Pe energy, but differentiating between types as close as FiSe III- and SeFi II-I isn't a distinction I could make with high confidence). Watching the video you linked for the second time now, Ji does seem to be the most heavily channeled energy expressed in that interview. Her use of Ni is also especially clear and frequent, and she even mentions "The River" when going into an Ni zone-out at a certain point.
As far as being Se conscious, if not outright Se-lead, I think there's a great deal of Pe energy sprinkled throughout the video. There are many moments in the video that demonstrate Se consciousness to me, but from 7:00 to 7:05 there is really clear Pe body/head movement, just to give one example.
In terms of Fi>Ti, I can see brief moments of the figure 8 Te head-shakes Auburn just recently posted about, as well as a giddy laughter that bubbles up, and wobbly mouth.
And yes, she is a fascinating artist. I had heard a couple Big Thief songs before and thought they were great, but when I heard their recent track "Not", I had a desire to see the person behind the lyrics; many of my favorite musicians turn out to be FiSe's or SeFi's as well XD.

    @rondo
Thank you very much for checking my work! Wild you were just typing her! I've been into her music a long time, her life story and song writing are absolutely incredible.
What is the criteria for a function being conscious? If there were some Se signals in that video that were fairly few and far between and certainly not at the same level as the others, is it conscious? Or is it just unconscious Se poking through? I know that for my own typing video there were lots of Te signals, so many that Auburn suggested I may be TeNi |-||, but not enough to be FiSe ||-| because the frequency of the signals was not on par with Fi and Se. Could that be the case here? She seems double introverted, but again, I'm not too experienced in vultology 🙂 thank you for including explanations!!

She really is quite heavily Ji, and is FiSe l--- in this video. But In the other video @rondo posted, I do see her modulating up Pe, into ll--.

Crap! I couldn’t get the copy/paste to work! I’m on a chromebook, if that’s data you need. Oh well, I’ll manually input the results below!

Did u try unchecking this button before pasting?

    @auburn
I unchecked that and copied my results to the clipboard, but I could only paste the youtube url that I had previously copied for the codifier. Seems like an OS problem, honestly! It said it copied the results to the clipboard, but seems to not have done that. Also thank you very much for your reply! I'm learning more and more about vultology each day!

    Got it
Yea it must be a code bug, will look into it. 🙂
For now the same result can be achieved by manually highlighting the table the old fashion way, heh.

And sure thing! I'm glad to help others learn how to read people if I can. Humans emit so much information per second, it's a shame to not have a language for describing it, or know what it really means.

Tried another little typing exercise on Ursula K. Le Guin from about 10 minutes of this video:

Export as text and copying still isn't working for me, so I'm gonna input my results manually again since I'm on a laptop and highlighting and copying/pasting is difficult.
    Probably TeNi I--I
    Maybe TeNi I---
    Less maybe TeSi I--I
    J - 4/5, all but exacting hands.
    P - 0/5
    Je - All 5 seen.
Ji - 3/5. Disengaging eyes, exerted push, meticulous hands.
    Pe - 1/5. Perk ups.
Pi - 2/5. Diagonal eye drifts, worldview rambling.
Energetics are heavily J then Je aligned with some Ji.
Fi- 3/10. Wobbling lips, excessive contempt, resting tension.
Ti- 2/10. Emotional neutralization, stop-start articulation.
    Fe - 0/10
Te - 6/10. Plateau emphasis, sassy movements, nasal monotone voice, snippy head shakes, snippy head nods, snippy shoulder shrugs.
    Si - 0/10
Ni - 3/10. Raised outer edges, intense scowl, grounded inertia.
Se - 5/10. Taut eye area, locked-on eyes, bodily awareness, hyped perk-up, pointed eye-toggles.
    Ne - 0/10
Heavily Te aligned with some snippets of Se here and there, which makes sense for an author with such gorgeous descriptions of sensory experience.
I'd love for someone to check my work if anyone has the time!

I can't shake this nagging feeling now that she is TeSi I--I! I think I might be remembering the Ayn Rand video and remembering some similarities? Anyway, a second opinion would be appreciated!
