Regarding high dexterity, I don't possess it at all. I can be an exception but then why am I an exception? 🙂
I thought of some possibilities (keep in mind this is just an exploration of what could make a person have high Dex and why some Se users have it and some don't) :
- Se combined with another function is actually connected to high…Read more

My thoughts on Clumsiness?
I thought I'd share my thoughts on clumsiness as a behavior, since it's been brought up recently. Cognitively I see two possible sources for clumsiness --with all other things being equal (including personal efforts to overcome it, which we can all do): introversion, and low S (esp. Se) priority.

@ Se
Lately I've been thinking that Se probably doesn't give people automatically high dexterity, and dexterity (the ability to coordinate one's body precisely) is not central to Se but just more likely to emerge from it. But I do hold that Se would be more prone to develop dexterity, even if it's not a 'core' feature but an emergent effect --…Read more

I fully sympathize with the frustration you mention @animal - also thanks for writing this. Odd as it might seem, I'm actually not a fan of doing statistics. They feel like death to me, and it's one of the things that goes against my native state the most. It feels like reading a dry textbook for the 10th time, instead of gathering new and fresh…Read more

Seeing that vultology aims to be a reliable and accurate tool I can understand why a large amount of statistics is needed since it narrows the margin of error but I also feel it would take a long time to have a database big enough to draw new conclusions that already seem quite obvious.
@celeste Well said! You summed up my point so well here,…Read more

Thanks, @auburn! These were great! And I agree. Yes! Glennon's story is much grittier and tougher. She had bulimia from around 10, was an addict throughout her teens, only stopping at around 24 because she was pregnant which is what caused her to "adult up" and get married, be4 then had already had an abortion. After 24 she became a model wife…Read more

Came across this article and wondered what, if any, implications these neurosurgeon's observations may have on CT, especially with brain region scans and vultology correlations: https://mindmatters.ai/2018/08/the-brain-is-not-a-meat-computer/
You should read the whole article (fairly short), but here are some interesting quotes:
