I also have only read bits of the books, as I mentioned in the blurb on Discord - and watched the series. It's possible that despite my better judgment, the series clouded my view on things. I should really read a few of the books to be sure that he writes like a Gamma and that it isnt the series swaying me in that direction. Maybe the…Read more

Looking more closely at Martin's vultology, I'm more confident now that signal-wise he qualifies as Fe, as per the current vultology code. Even when accounting for the variations that may exist in Te gesticulations, his is clearly Fe gesticulation. We can see this in GIFs such as:

OMG, that is spot on! I think you've made a great distinction here.
My husband can lean toward ideology (having conscious Fi), but he's not ideology first, and the other NiTe I know are really resistant to the NF ideological approach to life.

He has political themes, but I'm not sure if they're... ideology-based. It seems more like the characters he values the most actually shun ideology and find it a cause for rolling their eyes. Whereas the characters who are steeped in ideology, like Khaleesi/Dany, end up being 'bad guys' because he sees this as an inevitable path for those…Read more
