Responding to @animal's initial post, here's where I think some of this resistance toward generalization is coming from, at least regarding differences in NeSi & NiSe. As an NeSi type, my orientation is more anecdotal--i.e. I'm not oriented toward general patterns or trends so much as I am toward events that tell compelling/vivid narratives. While…Read more

I can definitely relate to the sense of "submersion" of certain of my traits that has prevented me from expressing myself in chat in certain ways. As someone who viewed himself as highly rational for much of my life, the Ti aspect of my psyche got a lot of development, and I hardly knew what I was missing. The other parts of my life didn't s…Read more

Would it be fair to say that for you, it’s not due to a dreamlike consciousness but to a more general Pe refresh factor, and losing track of what-just-happened and what you just did, etc?
I have to think about this. I don't really know. I would like to say yes, this is the reason - to at least have a plausible reason, but saying I am not us…Read more

These are interesting findings, and ones that I find both surprising and unsurprising at the same time. As one of the alluded to non-participatory (or not as active as some) NiTes the reasons for my quiet presence boil down to these (in no particular order):
Time - Simply put, I have too many offline commitments that I have to follow through with…Read more

Wow Bera! That's quite an unexpected list.
Comparing yours next to Bella's, the difference seems to be that Bella displays the more 'ephemeral' experience (alpha NT) along with the clumsiness aspect, so that the inner experience is one of a hazy/ghostly, dreamlike consciousness.
Would it be fair to say that for you, it's not due to a dreamlike…Read more

@bella - it's really weird because you are TiNe and I am SeFi and indeed what you explained sounds more like an Ne problem but I had so many of these things happen to me :
- I lost my bag once. I still have no idea where, when and how it happened. I can't remember what was in it;
- I left my phone in an Uber at least 5 times. Luckily I recovered…Read more
