I hope you kept a copy of the long thing, Animal. I’m guessing it was really important processing for you. And I found it interesting. It’s quite an enduring topic – the gulf between how others perceive us and how we experience ourselves. The question of translating ourselves into something that others will understand in the same spirit that we create the transmission. We ultimately have no control over the way we are perceived, yet we want to be true representations of our selves… because it makes possible true connection? Isn’t that the essence of communion? The art in creating the symbolic representation of the self must be one of the oldest creative driving forces.
