Agreeableness is an emotional attitude that focuses on emotional merging and boundary-dissolution between people. It is not a feature of cognitive type, but is a description of a certain emotional disposition that a person carries throughout their life. However, this emotional attitude will express itself differently if the person is an Fi-Te user or a Ti-Fe user. When the person is an Fi-Te user, their agreeableness is termed “seelie.” When the person is a Ti-Fe user, their agreeableness is termed “adaptive.” Both the seelie and the adaptive individual will have considerable behavioral overlap.
